  1. Congrats Chris!! I'm so happy for both you and Wendy. What sweet pictures!!!
  2. I completely agree with you. I think the last thing we need is women bashing each other for our individual choices. I completely admire women who work outside the home as well. I was responding to the post that if your kids are in school and you aren't employed then you are just sitting around all day watching Dr. Phil and Oprah or posting on dz.com. (which I do sometimes.. ) Some days I don't sit down all day. Sometimes I do sit all day. Life isn't scripted. When I mentioned that growing up in daycare sucked that was just my personal experience. My mother had no other choice. She had to work and I went to daycare before school, afterschool, every schoolbreak including summer. I missed her. It's all about balance and moderation... isn't that true for everything?
  3. I love men who can spell---- bite me.. it's not in the dictionary. I checked.
  4. I guess it all depends on the circumstances. I have four children now. Three school aged and one infant. Before the baby the kids were in school all day and what did I do? Not only did I run the household while my husband (ex) was deployed--- finances, household issues, cleaning...everything. I also volunteered at their schools whenever they needed me. It's interesting because my husband got vacation and when they were gone they got weeks off in exotic ports. I never got vacation. School aged children are just as demanding but in different ways. Your shifts change. You get up early and get them ready, prepare lunches and get them to school. You do whatever errands and do whatever chores need to be done as well. You work at the school, etc. When it is time to get them from school then you help with homework and then drive them to whatever activities they do. Afterwards it's cooking dinner, bath, put them to bed. After kids are in bed it is cleaning dishes and finishing up whatever else needs to be done. I'm also the one up in the middle of the night with sniffly noses and sore throats. Giving medication or just snuggling if that is what is needed. Also there are days when I have everything done and am able to "sit on my ass" all day. Believe me... after carrying four kids, birthing, nursing, and raising them--I deserve it. Sorry if I sound huffy... this is after not having a full nights sleep since I was six months pregnant. Oh yeah.. and I'm still a sex goddes to Hans as well. I'm thankful that my children get a stay at home mom. I grew up in daycare and it sucked ass.
  5. So tell me, doctors, if this is a 'medical urban legend.' When my ex husband was rushing the Blue Angels, I met one of their past flight surgeons. He worked in the New Orleans area. He said a female patient came in presenting with.. " I have a vine growing out of my jo-jo. " Turns out said patient did indeed have a vine growing out of her jo-jo. He said that she had been told by someone to insert a potato into her vagina all of the way to act as a barrier birth control method. Apparently after living in the dark, warm climate it sprouted--- out of her jo jo. He swears it was a true story but who knows. Funny and gross as hell
  6. That does suck. I HAD automated debit as well. The deal was when they corrected their mistake they didn't credit me but just took off from what I would have owed in the coming month.. I won't let them take from my checking account anymore. Just keep going over heads if you have to until it's solved and tell them you will take your business elsewhere.
  7. Tmobile screwed up my bill a couple of times by not enacting plans I had signed up for and said I owed them much more than I really did. I just went to the local store and told them what was going on and they took care of it. Call or go to your local store and explain. If you signed up for a plan it might not have been enacted when it was supposed to be and they should fix it. for you. Raise hell if they give you crap.
  8. Thank you, Michele.. He's a keeper for sure.
  9. Not sure, babe Hans has been jumping at Titusville as well. Let me know when you'll be out there and we'll make the trip.
  10. of course, he's the cutest and smartest baby in the world...
  11. Sold my house when I moved to Orlando and paid off everything.
  12. He must get it from his Daddy. This wasn't posed or planned. I put him to sleep in our bed and when I went to check on him... (every 15 minutes to make sure he's still breathing..) this is what I found.
  13. LOL to both of you. I'm just up waiting for SNL to come on.
  14. That's an unfortunate event, however, I don't think the bus incident had anything to do with race. If you want to talk about racial issues the flight attendant story is a much better one. Is Al Sharpton your hero?

  17. Very sweet. Now I feel guilty for not sending regular pictures of the kids to the grandparents and great grandparents.. I'll get on that tomorrow.
  18. 3am --nurse the baby 430am--the baby doesn't want to eat but wants to use the boobie as a pacifier. He doesn't want the real pacifier, only the boobie and then falls back asleep in the crook of my arm and we snuggle and I go back to sleep as well. usually between 5:30and 6:30am --- baby wakes up not to eat but to look around and coo and blow bubbles. Daddy will change the diaper if needed and then sometimes nurse if it's been 3 hours since last feeding and then back in bed for more snuggly and back to sleep. 715am---wake up to get kids ready for school But the best part is NAPS!!...10:30am.. baby naps and mommy naps
