Who are your favorite people to be around, and why?
misskriss replied to windcatcher's topic in The Bonfire
And I'll fall in line as well. My husband is my favorite person in the world to be around. Hate to sound corny but it's the truth. He works from home in the office which is across the courtyard so he's home but he's not. After I take the kids to school in the morning we take the baby on an hour long walk. We come home and make breakfast together and then he's off to the office. He'll pop in and I'll pop in throughout the day. He tells me he loves me all the time and he makes me laugh. He can annoy the hell out of me too but that's okay because I can annoy him as well. He accepted my three children as his own and is the best father in the world to our son. Anyway, I could go on but those who know him well know what I'm talking about. He's magic. -
I completely agree with you and I'm a stay at home mom. I stay at home because I choose to. My husband actually loves the fact that I'm home with the kids. It works for our family so everyone is happy. This is fulfilling to me and my children know that. My girls know that they can do anything in the world they want. My oldest who is off to college next year doesn't want children and wants a career in finance. My 12 year old says that after college and after she gets married she would like to stay home with her children till they are schoolaged if she has them. I think it's great they can want different things and both are admirable. I don't ever get into the working-mom/ stay at home mom debate because each family is different and there is no right or wrong answer. I think people on both sides pass judgement and that's a shame. Mothers should support each other.

Who on Dropzone.com do you think is a HOT PIECE OF ASS!
misskriss replied to JRock's topic in The Bonfire
My husband(jraf) has the best booty in the world. He doesn't have typical white boy flat ass. It's round and muscular. -
Always, always

Did your mom ever drive morning carpool in her pajamas?
misskriss replied to jumpjunkie2004's topic in The Bonfire
It's happened to me.. I was taking my daughter to school in my pajamas as usual. We were running behind and I forgot my purse. On the way home, I was going faster than I should have... I was pregnant with morning sickness and felt pukey. He pulled me over and I threw up. He let me go. -

I did it this morning. In fact, I drive them most mornings in my pajamas. -
Well, I did it. I took all of your advice

Congrats!! My ex husband went to WSU and grew up in Pullman. His mother still lives in Albion and works for the University. Hope you have a great time. -
Okay, gals - What do you want guys to do to make themselves dainty

It only matters what your woman wants. It's up to you with what you are comfortable with. My husband has more product than me and honestly he dresses better. His deodorant is even from the Clinique Men's line. He doesn't get facials but honestly I wish sometimes he'd get a pedicure. He notices when my toes aren't polished and I notice when his feet are scruffy...LOL I'll still rub them though...cracked heels and all. He skydives, rockclimbs, runs, kayaks, etc. and likes to get good and sweaty so he is very masucline. . He always smells good... that's the one thing I love...just holding him close and nestling into his neck and just smelling him. YUM! -
That place is tasty. Timpano does the same thing with the desserts in the shot glasses. We went this weekend and had the cheesecake tree It was a little tree with different flavored "balls" of cheesecake stuck all over it.

I'm similar... in the morning after dropping the kids off at school, I usually get a tall white chocolate mocha-- nonfat, no whip. (still sweet from big squirt of sugary syrup) Afternoons, a diet rite or two. No calories, no caffiene and made with splenda. A glass of wine with dinner or after the kids go to bed.
-
I love that too... the kids sometimes get annoyed when we "linger" as they call it so we usually spend the extra long dinners when it's just the two of us. I love people watching and talking and just taking my time enjoying the whole experience.

I love to eat out and chains are fine but my favorites are those local places where everything is unique. The Hue is one of our favorite places to go here in Orlando. http://www.huerestaurant.com/aboutus.asp

http://www.orlandobellydance.com/classes.php That's so funny. I was looking into it a couple of weeks ago and there is a mother/daughter class. My 12 year old still isn't embarrassed by me yet so she is totally up for it.

When I see these I always say to the girls... " Dead people... car accident." It's amazing how many there are.

Haven't had one in probably 10 years.

I agree and it scares me shitless. We waited till my daughter was 17 to let her get her license and practiced, practiced, practiced. She's also only allowed to have two friends in the car max. I tell her every day to be careful and always keep an eye out. A few weeks ago she dropped off her friend from school and while backing out of the driveway she hit their mailbox. Her father had called to see how her day went and she answered the cell phone and didn't pay attention. She has been told endlessly not to talk and drive. She was grounded from her car for a week not so much as a punishment but as a reminder that driving is a priviledge and not a right. She also has to turn her cell phone off when she gets into the car so the ring won't distract her. She was thinking about it every morning she had to get on the bus instead of drive herself to school. I told her we are sent little wake up calls and that could have easily been a child instead of a mailbox. It scared her and I believe she's learned her lesson.
