Yes topmfuelmdragsters use a 2 speed automatic tranny last i remember. When hundreths of a second REALLY matter, an automatic tranny is the way to go. Because autos do shift faster in the end. But dont worry those trannys are rebuilt after EVERY run, due to the immense wear on them. Lakeland and ocala FL For Lakeland area either Zhills or Skydive Tampa Bay are close by ...depends on the atmosphere you want. Both great places. Ocala area maybe Palatka or Deland. i lived in lakeland and did all my jumping and hanging out(except for my first tandem) at deland, its TOTALLY worth the drive. i did my first tandem at skydive lake wales. and when i went there, a few years ago, it was a total tandem mill, with VERY few AFF jumpers, i think i saw maybe 3 the entire day i was there. but thats just my opinion of the place, things could have changed. dont get me wrong the people were very nicve, but to me deland is well worth the drive. Deland is actually pretty far from Ocala IMO. Palatka would be closest for there. & Skydive Lake Wales is also an additional option for the Lakeland area. oh & welcome!

This is why you get clingers. The IDEA of this is very appealing to many people who are doing what's "expected," or the "standard." Of course, they don't have to worry about the consequences of the reality (for example, they might be WAY out of their comfort zone if actually challenged to live it). quick question, what if someone is listening to music, which in doing so, is causing them to not really pay attention, and they do something that gets them hurt/killed . . . had they not had the headphones on, they would not have been distracted, and then MAY have not made the same mistake. . . actually, i can give you an example of an accident caused not by headphones, but a loud stereo, which in principal is the same, because it blocked the persons hearing. we were going to a call in the ambulance one day, it was something minor, but we had to go with lights and sirens, we pull up behind this car, which dosent move, nowhere, to go, so were kinda stuck, well all of a sudden he swerves into the curb, blowing a tire, since we were RIGHT there and our original call was not a true emergency, we stopped real fast to see what the hell had happened, well dude had his stereo up so loud that he didnt hear us coming, and wasnt paying attention, while jamming out to his music, all of a sudden when he looked up and say a ambulance there he just swerved, causing the minor accident. . . . now mind you we had been behind this car for AT LEAST 15 seconds, so its not like we were flying up his ass forcing him out of the way. he didnt see or hear us coming, and when he did reacted badly. . . no, noone died, but it is an example of how impaired hearing DID affect someone negatively Thanatos340(on landing rounds)-- Landing procedure: Hand all the way up, Feet and Knees Together and PLF soon as you get bitch slapped by a planet.
