I want to have the cash ready to get completely through my AFF, with some to spare in case i fail a level or two, thats all. But im getting rather impatient with all this saving so i just may go ahead and start soon, since ive got enough to pay for the first few jumps. So im not exactly new to the forums, ive been lurking around here for a while, and thrown up one or 2 posts, so I figured id introduce myself, the names, John, im a 23 year old Firefighter/Paramedic from central florida. I may be new here, and yet to skydive, (still working on getting the cash for AFF), but one thing i do know is that I, along with everyone from that area will avoid Atlanta like the plague. As far as things like that go, there is nothing i know of anywhere near the area, ive looked, living in western KY for 12 years gets old fast so we try to find more fun and exciting things to do, something like that would be right up a lot of peoples alley. there are a FEW small DZ's but they are not advertised much, so you really have to know they're there to go. Nashville has a HUGE tourist draw, a ton of colleges in the area, combined with absolutely no competition within a few hundred mile radius, means Nashville would be your all around best bet. its a subermal implant, basically a chunk of medical grade silicone is implanted and secured under the skin, above the muscle, through a small incision distal to the site, few stiches to seal up the incision and youre good to go. if you like coheed you might try listening to cradle of filth, they are along the same lines, and the few coheed songs i heard, sounded exactly like cradle, just a thought. look up the cradle of filth cover of iron maiden's "hallowed be thy name" one of my all time favorites by them. OK, im not a doctor by any means, so take this with a grain of salt. if i were you id get her to a cardiologist as soon as possible, orthostatic hypotension is USUALLY occurs when the heart cannot overcome the peripheral vascular resistance combined with gravity pulling blood away from your head and toward your feet, which is why ill bet she feels alot better if she sits or lays down. if shes feeling dizzy or passing out then that is a sign that her blood pressure is falling close to dangerously low.long story short, she needs to be evaluated by a cardiologist. as soon as you can get her to one. good luck.
