i didnt think that the kid made it. Yeah as long as you learned something from it then it wasnt a TOTAL loss (not saying it wasnt tragic, but at least something good did come from it). The longest code i worked lasted for about an hour or so, and had me running from room to room in the ER breaking open code carts for more drugs. She was a 26 year old, with a massive pulmonary embolism (they think, never found out for sure), but either way, i got my first intubation, and learned what QUALITY CPR was all about. If I can get my licnese and enough jumps in intime i would'nt mind driving up there, well see how things go, sounds like it could be a good time. Its gonna be close though, but at least its a goal to work towards :) and even if i dont, i might head up there for a bit anyway, just to see what its all about, haha. yeah, they look like a better place to go, the prices are pretty comparable, the biggest price difference between the 2 is the $70 difference of the 1st jump. that and about an hour and a half drive. ill prolly head there just for the sake that it is a bigger place and more people to meet and gain experience from.
