    viability is completely relevant, without the host a fetus cannot survive in the environment it would spend the bulk of its existence in. Until it is capable of sustaining life on its own, without artificial means it has no life apart from that of the mother and therefore no rights apart from those the mother gives it as she gives it breath and nourishment. You are not taking away rights from a fetus, as it never possessed them in the first place. Modern medicine extends the potential for human life however that potential never has more weight than the actual independent life. the rest of your post is nice inflammatory fiction expressing your belief, but contains nothing backed by scientific fact or medical evidence. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    Actually, that is not always true, and I think that may be the point Rosa was alluding to. The nude form as subject matter in art, especially in B&W images, is generally not used to make a point or to send a message. The artist usually intends to draw the viewer into the image so they can interpret or experience it in whatever manner they choose to. There is nothing vulgar or exploitative about artwork that contains nude images. More importantly, an image of a woman that contains nudity does not represent anyone other than, at best, the artist and the subject. In my experience, art does not send messages, it solicits them. indeed nudity is not pornography despite the puritian social mores that attempt to paint it otherwise. the mind of the view gives it context, if you think a particular image is pornographic or not the first place you need to examine is yourself. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    I didn't think so either, but I wear gatorz with my contacts all the time now.     development of the brain stem/nervous system. By the time your wife is talking about they are nearly fully developed. apples and oranges.     a good portion of that was the result of the rules prohibiting lethal or permanently debilitating attacks. The 'myths' werent destroyed so much as they were prohibited by the rules. its not difficult to kill or maim rather quickly if you've decided you need to, that reality is not reflected in those sorts of contests, taking out someone’s eyes, breaking their arms/hands/knees pretty much stops any ‘submission’ technique before it begins.. part of the problem is many 'martial' arts have forgotten that and focus on exercise more than the lethal skills they originally cultivated. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

    tried a pair (cant wear gatorz because of contacts) the rubber came loose after 10 jumps or so and they always fogged up... not worth it and rather bug eyed looking IMO.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
