Isaac or Ishmail... That's what it's all about.
Zenister replied to Air-Addict's topic in Speakers Corner
if you have a script, and you wrote the script and the actors in your script are incapable of acting in any manner not in the script, in what way did you not make them do everything? In what way do they really have any choice whatsoever to act outside of the way you created them to behave? btw i love this argument, we can do 'freewill vs predestination' all day long...but you cant have it both ways edit: ps. Jesus's death (as written in your literature) can hardly be called a sacrifice. Its not as if it had any long term lasting effects for him in anyway, shape or form. Following the logic of your literature, he wasnt human (humans die and dont come back full functional in their original form) charging a machine gun nest, or jumping on a grenade is hardly and act of courage or sacrifice if you simply 'respawn' whenever you wish... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed. -

omg... that was the most dangerous question one year during a winter training cycle in korea... you simply had no idea what was going to get said next.. my personal fave "....a gut wrenching blowjob, you know the kind where you cum so hard you can't help puking on her head...." closely followed by the way we'd answer our cell phones for trouble calls "what are you wearing" "i really dont want to know...." ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

thats odd, ussually the reverse is true, primarily from people not understanding the differences in how steaks are cooked... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

it is about as true aussie as 'crocodile dundee' and that is about how serious it's taken too.. it is a theme resturant for fun, not for authentic austrialian food, and never claimed to be anything else. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Mark Sandman -lead musican and driving force behind Morphine proponent of 'low rock' died from a heart attack on stage in Greece, July 3, 1999. I was fortunate enough to catch six shows in the southeast before they left for Europe and the music suddenly stopped.... not exactly 'unheard of' but if your only listen to radio you'd never know who he was, or all the great music he helped create.. "what if i wake up? and the music stops playing? and the records all done? but the red lights still on...." ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Hahahahaha...ok, never go bar hopping with me then! That place is by far not even close to country. It has a rustic look, but...hehe...oh man. oh if we're bar hopping, i'll go anywhere anytime, but for sitdown and relax kinda meals the music and the peanuts just really annoy me... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

ps. i guess i should explain the other reason why Outback continues to be a favorite. hiring polices. generally it's attitude and atmosphere that will get you hired, however for a loooong time Outback had an unofficial policy about male/female ratios. I was one of two male bartenders and the only male waiter when i worked there.. In addition there is the joke about the 'menu test'. All resturants have menu knowledge tests to pass before hiring. However if, after you turn in your results, when you walk away, if your ass is wider than the menu (unfold it you'll see) then your chances of being hired go waaaaay down... I've met some of the coolest, most beautiful women in the world at Outback. I wont lie and pretend that isnt part of the reason i keep going to them whereever i travel.. iirc the Outback in Merrit Island, FL even had a few skydivers working there when i was stationed at Patrick AFB. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

To be totally honest with you, I prefer Texas RoadHouse for a "chain" steak house over Outback. that could well be personality/atmosphere.. I like Texas Roadhouse's food (iirc they have a 'Rocky Mountain chicken' that was lovely...) but the atmosphere is just waaaay to country for me... still i dont object when that is the option for the party to attend.. i still like flatgrilled meat though.. you wouldnt believe how difficult it is to explain a flat grill to (southerners) who think their meat isnt cooked without stripes on it.. oh yea btw.. the whole kitchen and wait staff will laugh at you behind closed doors if you: order a steak well done or put ketchup on it.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

been to a few of those ( I eat out ALOT on travel) was totally unimpressed, and they have less options for those who dont want red meat... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

admittedly there is no competition with 'hand raised beef' outback (pun intended) of the steakhouse your eating it in, but that is like comparing a shoreline seafood resturant where you can actually see the boat your meal was caught on, with McCormick & Schmick's. For a large commerical steakhouse, Outback is the shit hands down.. the way they've totally dominated market shares (even in Texas) vs other steakhouse chains proves that fairly well.. that said there is some variance in quality, two of the worst Outback's i've ever been in were in Killeen (since improved. I know and called the regional manager, soldiers deserve better food.) and one in Austin... service was so bad at the one in Austin I'll never go back... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

if your not so keen on steak, the Walhalla pasta & Cyclone chicken are delicious too... depending on the Outback they have a variety of fresh catch as well.... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

crappy steak?? you got a source to back that assertion? Outback has very very exclusive stockyards...they only place you can get better meat is by knowing the owners (of the stockyard, i used to date a girl whos father was one of Outback's providers and yeah HE had better steak, but you cant find better at any commerical steakhouse anywhere) if you have to season your meat even slightly you are getting poor quality in the first place.. the idea is to taste the meat not someones idea of a good pepper/spice combo... yea I'm biased, I used to work there, but I have had steaks all over the world and I still come back to Outback... in fact i may go there tonight... ps. Sunny.. lots of things happen at Outback, but we kill anyone who talks ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

bah... keep government as far away from the DZ as possible. Policies should be determined locally, not globally. If you dont like a particular dz's/packer's policies, your free to go elsewhere... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

this source i trust, and agree with the qoute. But where does it belong in the text? Certainly the footnotes were added later as they are not correctly notated... wouldnt the attorney actually talk to his sons? this letter is rather forced. Even if i agree with pieces of it, there are better ways to fight wars than the one we are engaged in. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Yeah, they're the thinking-man's rock group. Always loved 'em for that. As far as The Manhattan Project, if you've got the Show of Hands video, check the animation for that song... or for those of us who happened to see that tour 4 times... how about this.. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Now that's terrorism. Have you seen the average American? Would you really want to spend hours naked next to them? I think not. as i pointed out to a european friend in a restaurant this week (counted the number of over weight people in a large italian restaurant).. most non-americans have a rather distorted veiw of what an 'average' american looks like... dont believe everything you see on tv... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
