hmm depends really.. are they contained? do they have outside comms? how long can their supplies reasonable be expected to last? has power, water etc been cut? have they escalated the level of violence? (ie. are they still firing at the 'besiegers' and with what?) Has anyone from the camp surrendered? totally depends on the level of resistance offered... negotiation is a first best tactic, open warfare a last resort. Kapowsin Air sports... ok i'm sure some would argue its not a 'small' DZ because of the Otter and the caravan's but compared to Eloy (my home DZ) it is small.. I consider any DZ where you may or may not be able to get on a load on a weekday afternoon a small DZ.. that said Kapow ROCKS!! great people, safe, professional staff, aircraft and facilities, and no place else have i ever felt like i was coming home (and invited to stay for dinner) on my first day out... did so many firsts there i cant count.. 1st cessna jumps, first hit and chug, loads and loads of neat cessna games (4 way FF/RW exits + accuracy for beer and bragging rights) when the loads were to light for the larger aircraft... and the view is simply stunning.....but all that pales to the way you are treated, not just as a customer to a business, but as a family member returning home...it is not just a dropzone, it is a community. ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.

Yup, it was called "Quake done quicker" and it was badass! Of course he did it on the hardest setting and did it doing a shit load of gernade jumps (*hard*). They've done it again... 12.23 on Nightmare. Phuqin Quick to be honest 'Quake done quicker' was not dont in a single session, they took the best runs from each level and made it look like it was a continuous game.. thats ok, i love this discussion. As it (this discussion) takes place inside the christian mythos i fully expect qoutes. if we were arguing about Norse mythology i'd be qouting the Edda's too.. there is a difference between discussing the finer points of a particular religion's mythos and trying to use that same mythos as evidence of sole truth on the nature of God. in the later case such qoutes are rather meaningless... ____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
