    By listening to her talk....That accent is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. That and I saw her on some kind of reality show when she was pregnant. Constantly throwing temper tantrums over petty stuff...It was completely over the top even by "out of touch spoiled Hollywood celeb" standards.     They weren't broke, but there were lots of real problems to be solved when using them for skydiving. Landing hard and landing where you want to come mind immediately.     Yes. There doesn't seem to be a problem caused by oscillating pilot chutes in skydiving. During deployment they're not inflated long enough for any slight oscillation to cause a real problem. Essentially it would be a solution to a problem that doesn't exist skydiving. The same cannot be said of base. The larger pilot chutes and the slower airspeed at deployment allow an oscillating pilot chute to have a much greater effect on the opening. (specifically on-heading performance).     I'm not scared, but I understand it's a slight possibility. I work at a regional airport (on the cargo side of things) and there are some reminders there.     The Pilot is a main from Aerodyne. The racial slur is his signature line. It's on all of his posts..... SabreII I think would be an excellent choice. I would not recommend buying (or even jumping, for that matter) an original Sabre. Triathalon is a solid canopy, Jack of all trades, but master of none. Fairly old technology, by todays standards.     Hi Don! It's good to hear that you're doing so well! I have to take issue with the following statement: Skydiving is in no way, shape or form safer than driving. If you conduct a poll within our relatively small community, you would find a myriad of injuries, by many of the participants. I have had more friends than I can recall over my 20 years in the sport break femurs, or wind up with other serious injuries. Hell, 4 of the 5 years I went to Quincy I went to the Blessing Memorial Hospital to care for injured friends. You're not the first skydiver to use the "safer than driving" analogy, and I cringe every time it is used. This is skydiving, not bowling. People can and do get seriously injured all the time.
