  2. They normaly have some kind of standard depending on what altitude the plane will fly. Can't tell you what is the cabin pressure on a commercial airline, have no idea, maybe pilotdave can answer that. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

  5. Sorry I post this here but I think this is the only place where I will get decent answers from ladies with experience. I was wondering if you liked the first surprise kiss pass you got or if you think that it was a bold action from the man and that it shouldn't be repeat it again. How was the reaction once you landed (you wanted to kill the man or thank him or kiss him again, I dunno what else...). I ask cause am planning of giving a kiss pass to the new ladies in the sport, kinda a welcome to RW kinda thing but I have no idea how they will react and I would like some feedback from you ladies before doing something that might give me a life sentence (in hate or love, who knows). Also if you know of somebody who didn't liked it, can you share the story of why she didn't liked it. Oh yeah how many jumps do you recommend she must have before reciving her first altitude kiss? Thanks, your input will save my cheek from a lot of slaps. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  6. According to PADI last seminar called "Flying After Diving 2002" held in Durham, NC, USA in May of 2002, new recommendations were stablished; by implementing them they are considered RULES. For flights between 2,000 and 8,000 feets of pressurized cabin (600 to 2,400 mts) Only one SCUBA dive: wait 12 hours. Two or more dives: wait 18 hours. (before you had to wait 24 hours) Dives with decompression: wait 18 hours. (before it was 24...) For flights that are less than 2,000 feets (600 mts) of cabin pressure, you don't have to wait! 8. The main idea of the mantis position is to be very unstable, that way the turns will be much faster. For more info take a look at the video "body pilot in command". HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  9. I can't wait for the new female skydiving student to leave student status and enter the naughty world of RW, hehehe guess what am planning on my 2-way Hey is there a link for a kiss pass video? HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

  11. There are 2 reasons for not jumping (if there are more please do tell me). Reason number 1: it can rupture, causing: from partial to long term loss of hearing, lost of balance, exessive pain, internal bleeding, dizziness, you might faint and most prolly you will not be able to stand up your landing and might biff the landing cause the lost of balance, and you will lose stage 1 from the 12 stages that the ear has. Reason 2: it can get injured again (a not so painful injury) and will get severly infected making you loose a stage and giving your partial permanent loss of hearing and dizziness. if you get one of these 2 reasons, your ear will be sensitive to infections and you will have to carry ear drops with you everywhere you go for a lot of years and will have to extra carefull when you go to the beach or the pool, etc. Conclution: wait the 2 weeks, its not so bad, use them to go to the beach or who knows where. Oh yeah, no scuba dive or deep diving cause that pressure can also make you have a really bad day, trust me on this one. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  12. any thoughts of the sun shining in your team mate eyes? blind for a second or two. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  13. I have a spectre 150 in a d-bag made for a 220 (dolphin d-4). I have the closing loop so short that it sure makes me sweat everytime I put the closing pin. The container will look horrible, but it works. For the flamers: I emailed altico and they told me it was ok. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
  14. look for stores that are near you, if you need to ship something for a SB you might want to ship it somewhere near. ie. here in panama we buy gear from the US cause shipping its cheaper to the US than to France (parachute du france, which are as good as javs.). another issue, why do you say that Sabre are better quality? Spectre is a good canopy also the Monarch. Quality in containers well vector are good container (ugly for my taste), Dolphins are very good containers (and very cheap) and Talon. advice: read more the gear reviews before choosing. good luck in your new used gear! (go for use if its the first rig) HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com

  17. Medicine is a very beautiful career but you must really like it and put all your efforts in it cause its hard like hell, so goodbye to all your jumping sundays and start to think that you will jump about once a month if and only if the professor gets sick and can't get to class which is something unlikely to happen. how good is your chemistry and biology? can you see dead people? can you see blood? do you have good concentration? can you spend days and even weeks without sleep and still give your best? do you really want to commit your life to medicine (takes a lot of years to become a Orthopedic and even more to become a surgeon)? those are the question you should ask yourself before going there. I had a gf that was in medicine school and seriously they are all crazy and boring, cause the don't have time for something else not even to laugh. HISPA 21 www.panamafreefall.com
