  1. Welcome, Dan! -- ZZZzzzz....
  2. Well, In South Africa you would be as safe as at home. We love the Americans, and our local businessmen love the dollars they bring with them. In return, we offer the most beautiful country in the world, the best food, two oceans, national parks, clubs, nightlife - anything you can want from an overseas holiday. Americans should not abstain from travelling because of fear for anti-American sentiment. There's less of that than it seems. The empty pots just make the most noise. Besides, I would never harm someone just because they're arrogant . -- ZZZzzzz....
  3. OK, you sorry assed European , I'm going home now. I'll start saving up for that bottle of Johnny Blue so long. And I'll get Blue to save up patience for dealing with that Gerbil fellow . IronMike, I am happy that we learned something here. I am not too crazy about people in general either sometimes, but one learns to be strong and bravely weather the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune with time
  4. YEEEEEEHAAAAA! In that case, BRING IT ON!
  5. I have a little violin here and it's playing a solemn little song just for you . Leave us in peace, we are ejoying our booberized bunfight! -- ZZZzzzz....
  6. Well, I'll be willing to make that exception!
  7. War is necessary sometimes, and it may be so in this case. I strongly admire the way Colin Powell has handled the situation so far. What I took exception to, was your "other people suck in groups" attitude, which came through in several of your posts. Words to live by. -- ZZZzzzz....
  8. A refreshingly different point of view ! -- ZZZzzzz....
  9. Maningi Makulu Amabela! -- ZZZzzzz....
  10. What people post on this forum says a lot about how they really are. It was not all that difficult . What have you in your personal capacity "given" the rest of the world that we should be so grateful for? If you want to go through life like that, so be it. But there is a better way. -- ZZZzzzz....
  11. http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=193874#193874 Mike, You are angry at the world for some reason. I can see that clearly. I suggest that you work at changing that, and that you aspire to being a softer, gentler person. The world has enough hate and violence as it is without stoking up more. Peace. -- ZZZzzzz....
  12. But does it make you coffee in the morning? Does it have an integrated BJ facility? Will it iron your clothes? -- ZZZzzzz....
  13. Zepton-32, aka the planet of the LatexBabes . I wish. Cape Town, South Africa. I jump at Skydive Cape Town or Citrusdal, when the wind is not blowing at 40 miles per hour as it seems to be hell bent on doing all weekend. -- ZZZzzzz....
  14. That's just petty . -- ZZZzzzz....
  15. Leave the poor misguided fool be, Michele. In my young days I told many a pretty girl that I am anything from a sculptor to a fighter pilot if I thought it would get me some heavy pettin' . It doesn't bother me in the least if one jump wonders go around proclaiming to be skydivers, as long as they don't put people off the sport. I mean, even though he never jumped before, it's not as if he said that he is a skydiver or anything, did he? He used the example to illustrate a point. And it was a good one as well. We all know that you're fairly comitted to the dive once you are no longer touching the plane . I might as well say, "lemme tell you about determination, look at a marathon runner" in order to make a point. I'd probably die if I had to run a marathon. I'd suggest not publically humiliating him though, you will often come off looking worse yourself if you do that. Not that it's anything to me, though - I'm 12 000 miles away! -- ZZZzzzz....
  16. Pete Lawson of PSC in South Africa had somewhere in the region of 14 000 jumps last time I heard. There can't be that many people in the world with more than 10 000. -- ZZZzzzz....
  17. Rafster, as you know, I have done everything already . -- ZZZzzzz....
  18. LMAO! One of the funniest things said here in a long time. -- ZZZzzzz....
  19. Erno, you make an excellent point. But pointing out double standards to someone who habitually applies them will always be an excersise in futility. Whether or not a joke is offensive to someone depends on where you stand. A person can say "I find this or that offensive" but saying "this or that is offensive" wthout adding "to me" is not really a valid statement. I think, therefore, that if someone says something is offensive, they automatically mean that it is offensive to them, (the person) or a group of people the person feels an association with. Nobody can tell someone else what should offend them. It depends on where you stand. -- ZZZzzzz....
  20. I thought it's "Listen for horn, watch for finger", Dave? -- ZZZzzzz....
  21. Post some pics or a short video, and let the rest of us be the judge of that. Girls with slender hips simply can't bellydance. Are you one of those? -- ZZZzzzz....
  22. That is probably the correct "local" spelling of the word. I suspect it is derived from Spanish. You are right, Piranhas would be correct, if your MSWord uses American English dictionaries. On the other hand, if you set it to Real English, my guess is it would be Piranha's. I owe you a beer either way. You can collect anytime you are in South Africa
