    Reports are that the material begins to flake and crack after a couple hundred jumps. Apparently this has something to do with the material not really being designed to withstand opening shock, packing, crunching up in a bag, etc over and over again. I too had heard it was a problem with specific colors, but I'm not sure since there's no official acknowledgement from Daedalus on the issue.     The pond can be used for zone accuracy regardless of wind direction, same for distance. I will talk to Hans, but we might have to block off some of the parking lot area to make that safe. For speed carve the landing direction will have to be AWAY from the hanger - which is our predominant landing direction anyway. Typically, this time of year, there is little to no wind (no jinx please!). Case in point - Sunday is supposed to be 97 with 1 mph wind - Sat is 96 with 3 mph wind. edit: My preference is to run AWAY from the hanger, the landing area is much more open in that direction. Sure, you can get general answers, or vague guidance, but nothing ever surpasses face time and the answers here will almost always cater to the lowest common denominator. If you ever make it up to Atlanta, feel free to hit me up anytime. To answer your question directly, for a 270 I use double fronts throughout the entire turn.
