  1. What Kathleen, you're not going on it too? Performance Designs Factory Team
  2. From someone who swoops in spandex shirts that comment doesn't carry much weight. Once again this thread takes an ugly turn Shit, I might have to go back into Bonfire Hiding if this keeps up Performance Designs Factory Team
  3. I can't pretend to speak for them, and I know JT runs a few Flight-1 courses out of Elsinore, but I'm not sure how much of their time is spent on 'Essentials' courses. I know they do them, but it's not a full time gig that I'm aware of. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  4. Scott Miller no longer does the courses. I believe he is preparing a DVD though. edit: If there's no one locally who offers a good course, I believe Luigi Cani and Brian Germain are the only 2 people touring around the US doing classes right now. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  5. I think if you're looking for unintentional pond landings via skipping off the water - Charlie's your man It's hard to argue that naked, intentional, pond landings aren't Sunman's forte' Performance Designs Factory Team
  6. Land in the pond. Sunman can give you tips on how Performance Designs Factory Team
  7. Paul....being nominated by you makes me feel so.....sick? I just feel violated now You'd think consant exposure to Pyke would make you used to the swooning by now... Well this thread just took an ugly turn now didn't it Performance Designs Factory Team
  8. Paul....being nominated by you makes me feel so.....sick? I just feel violated now Performance Designs Factory Team
  9. South African's represent! Go Karl Performance Designs Factory Team
  10. I watched that about a month ago. Very interesting man indeed. That disease is very very disheartening. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  11. I think you'll find most manufacturers will disagree with that statement. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  12. Nice. I have my tickets to SA already booked so I'll be there whether I make the US team or not. Looking forward to it either way. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. lol I hate to burst your bubble but you do realize that the internet isn't exactly private anymore since Al Gore got a hold of it Many of us learn the hard way about posting stuff on dz.com and forgetting that the whole wide world can easily read and or set up an account and read what we've written... google is your employers best friend Agreed. I generally would caution against posting too much information - there's been at least dz.commer in the past who lost their job over it. That said I don't think Daizey actually want's to keep this quiet. If she did, none of us would know about it. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  14. I have the rubber band as close to the d-bag as I can get it (Ian Bobo's tip). It's just a large regular packing rubber band (like on the front of the d-bag) that I double stow. I dont have any pictures handy, but I think Shadowswoop posted some a while back. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  15. More likely it will speed it up due to slider distortion. That is why I don't like going to terminal with the full rds. Openings CAN (not always) be weird. Yes Yes Yes, you should be doing this anyway even without an RDS. It's easier to move the slider down the lines (bad thing) when working with the excess line though. Some people do. I stow mine on a rubber band. Being careless with this line can cause line burn or tears on your canopy. See my thoughts on this in another thread. On the front and back of the slider. You reach through from BEHIND the risers and put your hand in both loops - then pull. Blues Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. Sorry, I didn't mean to come off blunt
  17. Shotgun didn't make that statement, I did. I absolutely agree with this statement. Once again though, in my experience, people are rarely capable of this. Pity. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  18. Weight classes have been discussed, in depth, a number of times. The problem isn't the idea - the problem is that we don't have enough competitors to effectively do it yet. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  19. I don't mean weakness as in jealousy, if you're the jealous type that lifestyle isn't for you. I mean weakness in the inability to seperate fantasy from reality and understand that there are still dangers. You'd ASSUME that people would be open and honest in that kind of environment, but it's not the case as often as you'd expect. Not sure I agree with the word MOST in that sentence. I think it's a pretty even split.
  20. You'll get no argument from me there. Like life though, if you lose your footing, you're likely to fall. Like I said, it's possible, but most people are too weak OR in it for the wrong reasons. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  21. If you're considering swinging because something is 'missing' from your relationship, or because you were considering infidelity, then it's already doomed to fail. I'm not arguing that it can't be done under the right circumstances, but even then it's a dangerous game. People can get caught up in the fantasy and loose track of what's real and what's not. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  22. There you go, snobbing again Does that mean he lost touch Paul privileges too? God, I can only hope so Performance Designs Factory Team
