  1. Thanks for posting those! The pilots, in order of the attachments, are: Paul Roussouw. Kaz Sheeky Stu Schoenfield Kevin Love David Ludvik Joey "Sunman" Day Loud Dan Ben Griswold Brian McNenney Scott Roberts Performance Designs Factory Team
  2. Lets not forget the terrifying naked Zone Accuracy round that Sunman did. We'll never be the same again.....neither will the spectators. To be fair, Joey wore shoes and a helmet, per competition rules. Performance Designs Factory Team
  3. Hey Brad! Thanks for sharing those pics
  4. Ok, so I didn't go to skyfest, but J (skyfest organizer) gave me a shirt this weekend. I guess there's a glow in the dark message on the back and it's official I can't play the game since it's definitely sponsored by PD. Looks like there's a free canopy up for grabs (lucky bastards). I didn't see any new clues on the t-shirt, but I suspect the game interest will heat up now that we know there's a free main for the winner. Were there any announcements at Skyfest? 5. I think I can speak for the ladies and say "Thank God" See, that's what you get for the boogie snob comment Performance Designs Factory Team
  6. If it's one thing we learned about Stu this weekend, it's that he has a potty mouth. Performance Designs Factory Team
  7. You know, I always thought that video was a fake. I'm truely saddened, and ashamed to find out otherwise. In general, people make me shake my head. Performance Designs Factory Team
  8. Actually, not true. I happen to know NextGen - he was actually at The Farm meet this weekend, competing. I do think though, that he should wait a bit for a velo. He has a lot of natural talent and, no doubtedly, will be on a x-braced canopy sooner than most. Right now though, he's just not got enough time in the saddle IMO. In a few hundred jumps I have no doubt he'll be ready. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  9. HA! Gotta love the distance run on Zone Acc after that horrible vert Great seeing you again Mike - thanks for coming to the comp, and sushi! Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  10. Scores posted here: http://pdblog.typepad.com/ Man, what a crazy meet. 17 zero's in Round one of ZA. Personally my worst scoring meet ever (just kept missing the top of the gates). Overall a lot of fun, but man, what a comedy of errors. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  11. True, I believe they're technically Apes too, and not Monkies.

  13. They must be REALLY scared if they have to MAKE UP stuff about him. I constantly surprised at the amount of people who believe the crap though. Performance Designs Factory Team
  14. WOOHOO! All the big dogs (well almost all) will be there. Gonna be a sweet comp
  15. Yeah, but since I'm supposed to pick him up from the airport, I think I'm just going to leave him there.....or drop him off in Downtown Atlanta. Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. Very true. This meet alone we'll have a LOT of the Pro's going to Nationals this year. It'll be a great trial run. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  17. Harry, I wanted to comment on a few items in your post to clear up any misconceptions: Absolutely. There's NO denying that Jim has been a very effective marketer in the swooping arena. He's accomplished a lot and that can't be taken away from him. Not entirely true. I believe the PST was co-founded with Lyle Presse. Jim and Lyle later parted ways though. The CPC was spawned off of Chris Hayes, and Justin Thorntons, idea for a grass roots regional meet. It was so successful that it was partnered with the PST and spread to other regions outside of the South East. Al has now taken over the FLCPA and it continues to do well. Communication has been non-existant this year. Until a few weeks ago no-one even knew if there was going to be a PST this year. I had to read about it in a newspaper article to even confirm there was one. Competitors travelling halfway across the country, expressing a desire to have specific events is hardly bitching. Jim has been adaptable in the past and changed events based on swoopers opinions - this is an area to voice those opinions. Jim is thanked after each and every meet - at least by me, and a good number of other competitors. He'll also be the first to tell you that you need a thick skin to do what he does. 18. Yeah, the way I read it was that the PRO event is open through a qualifier. btw Stu, it's EXIST, not EXHIST Performance Designs Factory Team
  19. To All, I'm on the fence about keeping this topic. Personally, I feel (quite strongly), it needs to be discussed BUT if it doesn't stay constructive I'm going to lock the thread. I will say that I am VERY disappointed in the decision to just open up the gates to anyone after having worked my way through the system, just like most other pilots on the tour these days. IMO, it cheapens the hard work. I'll also add my disappointment that the PST, this year, seems to be nothing more than an exhibition event - 2 different freestyle events? Come on. If it's supposed to be an exhibition or a PST freestyle event, fine - call it one. We could do carving ZA (traditional speed course with ZA at the end), Carving Accuracy (quad gates), Ultimate speed, etc along with a SINGLE freestyle round (which, btw I've ALWAYS felt should not be in the same comp as technical events). Just my thoughts. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  20. Amen. My morning commute is a pain in the ass - not because of traffic, but because of piss poor timed lights. There is one section, on the main road, where the light turns greed, just as the next one turns red. Stop - go - Stop - go. *sigh* Performance Designs Factory Team
  21. Website comments are pretty much everywhere. Just like DZ.com they're intended for a community to discuss ideas and bounce things around. They too, like DZ.com, have moderators to make sure things stay in line with the ideals of the site (whatever they may be) - which is exactly why it was removed. Go ahead and blast Obama for whatever legitimate reason you have, but this is just too much of a stretch. It's like holding Sangiro accountable for everything that everyone says on this site - even items that have been trashed by the mods. There needs to be disagreements, discussion, etc, but when it gets out of hand (like that comment on the site) it needs to be removed....as it was. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  22. Yep, I do. Now, I don't believe he gets everything right for a second, and I think he's naive on a few items, but I believe in his message and his intent. I also happen to believe that McCain is a good choice. He was #1 on my list when Hillary was the competition. He too, like Obama, has items I disagree on. Both candidates are 'different' from what we've had the last few presidents (bush/clinton/clinton/bush/bush) and that, IMO, is a good thing. Of the two of them, Obama's message resonates with me more, which is why I choose to back him. I think it's safe to say we all agree that no candidate is going to be perfect, and there are going to be items that we don't agree on. I think it's also important to understand WHAT exactly a president can do (most people think they have a LOT more power than they actually do). Some of the items that we disagree on are platform items that'll never get through the system anyway. Right now, I believe, Obama is a good unifying force. Of course not everyone will agree, but overall I believe it to be true...and right now, the country needs a little unity IMO. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  23. I realized a long time ago that you can't make people believe something they don't want to believe. You'll do what you want, and that's your right - just don't try and fool the rest of us In the meantime, I'll take Barak's stance on what HE SAY's he's for - vs what a comment on his webpage (which anyone can make) says. I guess, if I edited your sig line to say whatever I wanted, it'd be true by your standards since it's attached to your profile? Just plain ridiculous. Performance Designs Factory Team
