I'm from Iran so I get the "special" treatment at airports. The joke in the office is that I may be on a few "dates" the next time I go on travel. It doesn't bother me much, hay they have a job to do and I'm going to try and have a little fun. I just hope it all heals up fast so I can jump again. OlympiaStoica Do you think it was the forward speed that got you or do you think it was the very quick decent that got you. The canopy that got me had a bad habit of dropping my chunky Persian ass out of the sky from 200ft with lots of forward velocity. Have you been on any canopies that were a little slower and a little softer or have most of your experiences been similar to mine? You know for something so simple it’s amazing how complicated they can be. Stay safe -

virgin-burner Please don't take this the wrong way but don't ever get a motorcycle. Sometimes some people just want to be safe, have have a good time, learn and slowly move forward. I am one of those guys, be it on my bike or what ever I do. The key word for me is to be safe as I can, not to hurt any one including myself and learn from every outing. In this sport right now, I'm just worried about having a soft landing. And I'm doing what I can to learn how to land safely so that when I do go back hopefully in the spirng I will have many safe landings. -
All my close calls on my bike were with soccer moms or soccer dads! Be it turning with out looking, or merging with out looking and then there is ever popular driving as if they were a fish where by they take up 1.75 lanes on the high way. But you know, you shouldn't kill all ideas. Change is good! Who knows maybe one day I'll think of a good one that may save your life. And then you would have to write me some sort of thank you letter saying how amazing I am Never the less, it was just a thought that won't work. Hay be nice! Just because I want to get down safe and swooping doesn't interest me is no reason to be mean. I just want to enjoy my free fall and get down safe. I agree 100% but thougth just incase.... You know for the same reason why I wear all my gear all the time when I ride. I don't plan on falling but just in case i do I wish not to die due to a soccer mom not paying attention.
