  5. Maybe I'm wrong about this since I just bought my PC101 and haven't read the manual, yet . Anyways, when I start it in video mode, it tells me that it's set at 16:9. Maybe that's common for most Sony camcorders? I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. eat sushi, get smoochieTTK#1

  8. Ahh... that makes sense... Thanks for clarifying One more question, did the guy who went nuts have a gun license (and or a CWP) too? I agree that both of the other men acted courageously (sp) and correctly and set an example of what a responsible gun owner should do in certain situations. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. 9. Two questions: first, what is a CHL? I'm trying to figure out the difference between the CHL and a CWP. Second, why is it relevant that the second guy also had a CWP? I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. eat sushi, get smoochieTTK#1
  10. I can't tell for certain, Is this in response to the vulnerability found in browsers that support Unicode that will allow a phisher to create websites using alternate languages? The funny thing is that IE isn't vulnerable since it doesn't support Unicode. Thanks for the info I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. 14. Norton Firewall has settings to block secure connections. Typically it's in one of 2 places, the Privacy manager or in the advanced rules for the firewall. I'd disable the Whole security suite to rule out Norton. If it works, I'd then disable the privacy manager. If all else fails, in the firewall config, advanced tab, general button, there's a rule to "Block acccess to secure sites" I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. 17. I've been lurking the various sites for a decent camcorder for a few weeks and found a PC101 with battery, charger and case (yeah, like I'll use the case ;) for $300 tonite which I'm going to look at tomorrow. I realize that this is 2 generations old now and soon to be 3. I kinda figured that if I could find a PC105 for < $450 I'd be happy otherwise I'd go with a 109 which is retailing for about $600 now. I guess I'm wondering if saving a bunch of money is really worth it in this case. Posts here for the 101 seemed like everyone was happy with it at the time it was new or second generation. Is that still the case? Along those lines, is there anything I should look out for? TIA I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. eat sushi, get smoochieTTK#1

  19. There was an article that was trying to say that MS/Giant's antispyware is the most effective program at an 63% success rate. The other brands were in the 40's... http://windowssecrets.com/050127/ Uhmmm... I think I'll stick with adaware and spybot TYVM I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. 20. So... I just read in the paper today that the total % of eligible Iraqi voters who voted in the election last month was only 57% clicky That's about 25% less than the Bush administration was touting the day after. That's also less than the 60% goal the Bush administration said would make a "successful election" So, are the elections in Iraq still a resounding success like everyone was crowing about 2 weeks ago?
