DISCLAIMER I'm not an expert either, FAR from it Let's think about it this way then, (ALL freefly in the example) if your 3 way head down is planning on opening at 3k and you have 2 solos as well , one planning on pulling at 3,5 and the other 4, wouldn't you want the lower pullers going first? In that event (providing everyone pulls where they say they will) no one is going thru anothers opening altitude while still in freefall. Granted, it's not making accomodations by adjusting your opening altitude, but it is taking into consideration and making vertical seperation I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. It's an Orinoco Residential gateway and card for the laptop plugging into a switched 100mbit wired network. One of these days I'll write an app to remotely control my MP3 queue so I can change and add a playlist. And I have another 10 days to go(YIKES!!!) For me, I always make a point of buying my months jumps ahead of time, so I have no excuse. That and when I go to a new dz, I usually come home with a few JT's (2-3). That way I never have an excuse not to go. yep, that's what I was thinking, just surprised it took that long for someone else to suggest it. a Windows domain and an Internet Domain are similar but two distinctly different animals. Samba will act as a WINS server (unnecessary with XP) and an alternative to a Domain Controller. info here. Personally, I'd leave it as a workgroup (simplest)or set up an AD and integrate the Nix box into the AD tree. side note, anyone have any experience with SNORT as an IDS?
