I'll save ya the embaressment of finishing off the numbers thread (and it's STILL Monday here :) 0:2:1 0, the number of times I got to be on the same load with my little sister. Tandem training almost always takes at least an hour from start of the waivers to the end of the class, but NO, they turned her around in 40 minutes and was on the load takling off JUSt as I was walking back. My fault for not saying "Hey, I want to make sure to be on the load with her". And the Little wench has YET to show me her video.... 2 jumps trying to show someone how to sit using a train exit. First one was going okay except we were spinning so I let him go. BE SPECIFIC... fdisk /MBR is what he meant regular ole fdisk will wipe your HD. NOT a bad idea if you don't care what's on it. BUT, even if your MBR (master boot sector) is trashed, you still should be able to boot from a CD. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Why won't it auto start up with the CD? Did you go into your BIOS and set the boot order with CD before the HD? I can't remember if XP gives you an option to create boot floppies, I'll get back to you on that one. I promise not to TP Davis under canopy.. Depends.... We'll turn the caravan around with 8 jumpers, in the middle of the day it's hard to do sometimes, but Wednesday and Friday afternoons it happens.... Never been to Lodi during the week tho, and they're the only DZ that is open on Xmas day Yeah, Winter is usually Ski Season but the nice thing is that you have to pass SkyDance on the way home from Tahoe.. NOw, think of this from the other end of the spectrum. you're a graphic artist who just wants to be able to work on your project, output your project and have it look like what you designed, without having to know cryptic command line what the heck is a registry or permissions or whatever.. Mac is superior in that respect. But then again, they do make flavors of Nix'es that will run on a MAc. Apple IIe for me. Programmed my first game in HEX for that. My first programming experience was with LOGO (also on the apple). I'd have to disagree with that comment. In the San Francisco Bay area, People are generally accepting and open minded when it comes to sexuality, race, religion, etc... And I feel that it also promotes acceptance of one's individuality. Because people can feel comfortable being themselves, they act like theirselves. Because people are free to be and act how they feel comfotable, the closet bigots realize that their fears are ungrounded and that people who are different in some respects are in FACT a lot like them. There ARE people everywhere who openly state that homosexuality is offensive. Bumper sticker posted on the cube next to mine. Not TRUE.... accepting people based on who they are and not by what religion, skin color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, etc... is an individual process. I am only responsible for myself, and I chose to accept peopel for who they are. Other people want to be close minded and not see the what really matters, that's their choice. C'est la vie....
