Yeah, It's a virus, just not a computer virus. What do they call these? Socially engineered viruses? Same thing as the "help me find my missing child" e-mails. someone else from here was asking about this a few weeks ago. Typically, the first thing I do when I get an e-mail about a virus (and it's usually my mom) I will check www.sarc.com and then send her the link (and everyone else she copied on it) telling them it is a hoax. I think that in the 8 years I've been in the industry, I've seen one, maybe two e-mails that were genuine. The point is, if you have a virus,the first thing you should do is check your defs and make sure thwey are up to date. If not, update them NOW, then run a virus scan. AS for the e-mails, if you really want to help, do the homework first before you blindly forward it along to everyone. P.s The irony of this is my Mom got the same e-mail and deleted the file. All I have to add to this thread is that when I bought my rig, it didn't have a cypress. I jumped without one for about 10 jumps and this may be wrong, but I felt a bit more nervous and was more cautious about what I was doing on those jumps. Spent the 4th at the beach boogie boarding, then Friday n Sat at Magic Mountain (NO DL Bets). My daughter did her first Loop Roller coaster so I had to steal her first, although I am a little worried that she enjoyed it a little too much (and am hoping it's not hereditary ;) Went to the Alameda County Fair yesterday for closing and won $8 on the horse races. Who woulda figured that Number 9 would actually SHOW? Best part was that the beer was free after that (theoretically) First time arm wrestling the waitress at Spaghetti factory and first time doing cart wheels in the movie theatre. The first numbers? That sounds like what Jim and I did last week. WE held hands, ran outthe back of the Van and did a back flip.
