  6. QuoteAverage sex with someone you like alot or mindblowing sex with someone you don't really like all that much?[/reply It has been my expereince that mind-blowing sex relationships only last about 2 months. And average sex relationships will last longer, but clouded with thoughts, memories and lust for the mind-blowing partner by default. Though sex is about 10% of the relationship, if that is bad it will ruin the other 90%. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  7. Was it a stand up landing? "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

  9. Looking back on it, how could people fall for that kind of crap........But then again, look how people supported the Iraq invasion without a second thought Well, I know........read the words from Jim below and he pretty much sums it up. 10. Pack your bags Bush, you are about to get FIRED! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  11. I do not think it is personal. I think maybe they already had a set schedule. But I thought it was funny they had a service for a 200 year old heart last week........So they were putting to rest their own! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

  13. Hell yes to the death! I would hate those colors as well and they are not very original. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  14. Everything but the WMD! I do not care a damn about Iraq or its people. But it is nice to know where 150 MILLION MILLION of our dollars went! After all, inside every Iraq man, woman and child is an American trying to get out!
  15. Right there with you. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  16. I used Ampeg SVTs for many years professionally. Great punchy sound, and unburstable. You can't go wrong with them. There's only one rig better IMHO, and that's what I use now, The Trace Elliot 500W with 4X10 and 1X18. I user Rickenbacker 4003s, so I can really develop that ringing punch they are famous for. Here's a picture of the rig and one of the basses. What a sweeet bass rig that is!
  17. Dish rattlin sounds like lots of fun! I live in a townhouse with vaulted ceilings and wood floors and it gets too loud for me from time to time! Neigbors have never called the cops, but they do tell me I am getting better!
  18. That's quite a range of rigs; you might be better off defining the sound you're looking for and what kind of band you're looking to play in. You also might want to post this to one of the bass forums, such as http://p219.ezboard.com/bthedudepit There are big differences between the rig types you mentioned, and it's a bitch to lay out for something that you won't be happy with. I am looking for a classic sound and the Ampeg rig would provide it no doubt. The Bassman Pro gear also provides a nice classic sound and a few features the Ampeg does not have. I have not tried the G+K equipment very well yet. I have posted on a 3 other (music) forums, but not the link you gave me-thanks!.......I know at least a couple of players post here.
  19. Hey Dave, bring back the outlaw pic!
  20. Too many too list! A month ago I bought the Led Zeppelin box set and everyday I have a different Zep song in my head! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  21. My jump info is not posted because it is "Nonaya Damnbusiness" but my name is there. 886 jumps is a little low for skygod status. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  22. His attention span is fine; that was a needless poke from you. It's Guitar. But good for you on the amp! Ciels- Michele I think every skydiver here has made that pun of a 60 second attention span.............have you not said the same?
