  1. Kong "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  2. Already did it from 10-12 today. Music lesson from a kick ass drummer that really worked all my knowlegde of the bass to the max! All the work paid off and the CD we burned-of the entire class-sounds as if someone else is playing bass! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  3. Yep! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  4. That's really strange! Ghosts? Btw, that's really cool about the "bass and drum" lessons...
  5. Have you thought of local artist? Then you could actually sell their art for a small fee of course.
  6. Checkout Buckminster Fuller and the reseach that Rice University has been doing on composite metals for the past few years. The engineering is not new, but the material is being developed.
  7. About a week ago I had a dream that I was being chased by a WWII German Panzer tank and two guys I work with were with me. Everytime we got away from the tank it would show back up. At the end of the dream I was trying to get them to help me shove these big metal rods in the tracks...I was thinking that would cause the tracks to jump off the rollers. The guys I work with did not help, but I am sure it would have worked....after all, you cannot go through a dream and let a Panzer tank push you around! I have been taking "bass and drum" lessons from a out-of-sight drummer from LA. This guy is big time and the lessons are jam packed! I was beyond tired after the lesson last Friday and decided to crash on the chair in the studio. In my sleep I thought, DAMN, my bass is about to fall over........I woke up, looked over at my bass, and about 6 seconds later the stand and bass just fell over for no reason........That kinda stuff happens to me all the time.
  8. HAHAHAHAHA! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  9. DAMN! You took my quote from Teddy and the idea behind my next reply! You sharp guy!
  10. The Senate was technically not in session at the time. This was during a Senate group picture. Please explain/expound what you are trying to say. Also, if your integrity was publicly challenged by someone, who then smiled in your face as if all was fine between you two, like Leahy tried to do to Cheney, would you really not confront that person (Leahy) for his two-faced hypocrisy? While I would not have used curse words myself, I am not upset that Cheney used them towards Leahy. From what I have read, Cheney has no regrets. He stood up for himself and rejected Leahy's hypocrisy. I can understand this as I have had similar situations arise at work, when people did not seem to show proper respect towards one another by spreading rumors/lies and smiling in each other's face. Obviously, lies about one's integrity and character can be extremely detrimental to one's reputation and/or career, especially if these are lies about the Vice President of the U.S. I doubt that you have never uttered a curse word to another person. Especially not if that person had been trying to tarnish your reputation with lies. Read this: In my opinion, Leahy is a hypocrite and should think about his own morals and character before attacking someone else's with lies. Honestly though, I wish that both of these parties would be able to work together, instead of lashing out at each other. Pride should not matter. The bigger person, the President of the Senate, should have known better, acted with respect to the Institution, Senate, and People his represents. His actions are an example of his God like status. It is much more than a "fuss" a work. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  11. I have not seen BFC, so no comment there. I was responding to the topic you posted-which I think is a little off-because, if you see the report, you will probably ask a different question. Thats all. 75% of the movie details the unjust invasion of Iraq and exaclty how the Bush Family and Friends are making millions and millions off it. Not to mention GWB making a fool of himself completely with very little help from Moore! And there was some funny parts too!
  12. Ummmmmm, no, you missed the point. The point of the article is how GWB came to power without the consent of the majority, how it relates to Hitler, and most important, why Democracy should be restored to our institution. Do you know how Hitler came to power? Not the fact that the judge crap'd out and gave in. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  13. Exactly why people should FIRE GWB and hire John Kerry!
  14. You saw the movie twice and this is what you have to say? Maybe you should stick to traffic......You seemed to have missed a lot of information. And too, try to read a few very good books that have been published in the last six months on these topics-Moores facts add up. So first you tell Trent to go see the movie and he will be surprised. Then Skycop says he saw it twice and you tell him to go read a few books and that he must have missed all the good information. Liberals, Go figure Actually, I am a republican and I have always voted a straight republican ticket. This will be the first time I have ever voted for a democrat. I believe the current heads of state have HIJACKED the federal government and is using it to push their own agenda, of which GWB is not even in control! So yes, go see the movie, read a few books and do some research(By the way, the 2 books I have read in the last few months were both written by republicans)..........After all, I guess that investigating for yourself is the liberal thing to do. And yes, Trent go see the movie and lets rap about it-Mercedes and I sat right behind Stevie, but did not get his point of view!.........As for you, read the words below.....you watch a lot of TV uh? "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  15. Cheney is the President of the Senate and he should not be speaking like that. It just goes to she these people have put themselves on GOD status and have no respect for the nation or its people. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

  17. Hey Trent, go see the movie first. I suspect you will be surprised.
  18. Everytime I call it quits, I click on some tits!
  19. Not long after 9-11 Mercedes and I went out to make a jump one weekday. On the way there we both started getting bad vibes for no reason-I did not know she was thinking the same at the time. We got on the 1st load and about 8K Steve turned the plane around and in a few minutes we were on the ground-FAA put us down........We waited around until they got everything right and everybody got back on the plane for the 2nd time...........We taxi a little ways and Steve stops the plane again-flat front tire on the Otter! At that point in time I thought, this is the third sign, lets not jump! Of course they filled the tire took off and everybody landed ok, but, then again, we were not on that load! Kinda funny, Scotty Carbone said something like, I'd get off the plane to after 2 trys!
  20. Make sure she didn't find something that Ajax can't scrub off! Oh yea, that too! ------------------ "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  21. try not to get your finger dirty! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"
  22. wow, I am actually agreeing with you on something! Yes, spend some time with her and keep a very open mind and see(not with your eyes) how she has grown as a person. Today we can fly around the world in less than a day. 100 years ago, if you wanted to travel and see the world it would take 2 years or more. And many people did just that. Many people, especially Americans, do not realize how important person time is for growth.
