I would never in a million years believe you were a skydiver especially after all those credentials you posted…….but, I do have an old ejection seat in my garage I have been trying to fire up, can you come over and help with that????? I do not think that is a very big deal. A mid-size hotel can use about 80,000 gallons in one day-easy. A really big house with pool and lawn.....I think it would use more for an entire month-actually. What's is really bad is that LA tried to damn a creek that ran through his property and that really pissed off the TCEQ and was very not legal. Did not hear what ever became of that one though.

Cool, it's OK for me to kiss my husband!

I knew a couple who were married 3 days after they first met. (I assume there was first-date sex.) A co-worker recently told me the story of being at a bar with a close buddy, when a chick across the bar started giving his buddy the eye. The two started drinking and dancing together, got in his car to leave...and didn't even make it out of the parking lot before the flames erupted.

Denver police beat cyclist, commit perjury

And they generally get away with it unless someone has a video. It did not work for the poor guy in New Oleans who got the shit beat out of him follow'd by a huge cover up by every law agency in America....even freaking Homeland Security........ Fear sitting next to the door
cloudseeker2001 replied to chrismgtis's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I recently experienced this with a jumper who was seated on the floor while I was on the bench. I had no idea she was scared and I did not believe her when she told me and I just thought she was joking. Next time I will let her sit on the bench and I will hold on to her legs! After all it is only fair! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -
Nah, it's all for show. A damaged oil pipeline in Georgia should halt the slip in the price of oil. Don't let them trick you into believing that they're unhappy Short-term thinking only. The neo-cons are desperate to gain access to oil from Baku (on the Caspian Sea) to the Black Sea. Without Georgia--they're dead in the water. Their "Grand Chessboard" is going up in flames. It might be time for them to take up Checkers. This just in: "The Russian news website Izvestia is reporting that an African American soldier/mercenary has been captured by Russian forces. He was captured with a number of Georgian soldiers, whose specialty was in handling ordinances. The report mentions that they believe he is a Nato instructor, and that he has been transferred to the Russian base of Vladikavkaz. It also reports finding bodies of dead soldiers in Tskhinvali, the capital city of South Ossetia. But what stood out in the report was that some of the corpses were negroes." Consider this: google maps has censored interior viewing of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Why? http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=40.763901,45.74707&spn=8.917903,13.908691&z=6 Strange days indeed. Maybe Russia is cleaning up their backyard and screwing up covert CIA actions........I will bet that this will get worse before it gets better and Russia will be very unhappy with the west....which really screws up things for us because we need help from Russia to curb Iran........ The USAF Takes Another One to the Teeth
cloudseeker2001 replied to Gawain's topic in Speakers Corner
Wanna say something topical? Or are you simply demonstrating that you have no valid point to make in this thread, either. Feel free to point out all the media accounts that make a big deal out of this incident. I'll say whatever I choose. My post was a direct comparison to another thread specifically for Nerdgirl. I have made my point, unfortunate if you do not get it. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -

Do you al Qa'eda could acquire a nuclear weapon?
cloudseeker2001 replied to nerdgirl's topic in Speakers Corner
The best way to acquire a nuke would be to get legally voted into a country that has them.......I seem to recall a couple of times in history an entire country experienced a legal revolution....... Well, except in the case of our own government back in 2000. "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -

Please cite one statement that I have made which would be characterized as playing the role of "chicken little." Please cite one media source that suggests a "sky is falling scenario." Opinion does not equal fact, i.e, what you asserted in the post to which I responded: "It buttresses the fact that the media is trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill here." Fitness Fanatics: July 18-24 Reports!
cloudseeker2001 replied to ACMESkydiver's topic in The Bonfire
I am training for a Mt Rainier climb in September. I have been riding 40-50 miles a week on my bike and pack training 12-15 miles a week with a 45 pound pack. Today I started 80 stories of stairs a day in the building I work in and will increase that to 100 next Sunday. I will also increase the weight and miles with the pack next week. I am not loosing weight, but I am in better shape and feel stronger than I have in some time -
Bet that was very cool! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

...unless, of course, that is another bullshit story like Tami's Herc's-leg-bitten-off-by-alligator-whose-head-is-now-on-the-bar-at-Skydive-Miami story that she tried to pull over on me that time when I first met her at Z-hills a few years ago. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Scotty ran Herc over with Tammy's car.........Tammy was pissed! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

Marble Falls is not that big of a town, maybe someone with some connectiond should call over there and talk to the cops and find out what the real deal is......I think this may not even be a real cop. This pic could have been pulled from a movie or promo file or something of that nature.

Would you wear a stun bracelet on commercial flights?
cloudseeker2001 replied to ChasingBlueSky's topic in Speakers Corner
Agreed....but if it did, I call dibs on the class action that arises when a whole plane-load of them gets accidentally triggered! that would be so funny as long as it was not me!!!!!! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -
Cops let me down again……Unbelievable!
cloudseeker2001 replied to cloudseeker2001's topic in The Bonfire
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Police officers can't be in twenty places at once, and you know what...stop and think before you start to bad mouth a cop/cops...Sad part is, police officers only get the information that a dispatcher tells them. And if there isn't enough officers to go around, well, I hate to say this, but like triage, worse cases come first...makes you wonder what else they had on their hands at that time of day...wait before you start to pass judgment... You also might be offending a wife of a police officer who puts his life on the line every goddamned day to help f*ckers like those gang members and wannabees stay alive to hurt someone else...Sorry, but sounds like you are blaming the wrong party...get over it. ~R+R...'Cause I am... edited to add: SPEAKER'S CORNER!!!!! From year’s of observation and personal experience, I think the cops, as individuals and as publicly funded civil entity, can do a lot better in my neighborhood and I believe that I am acting just buy making statements with reasonable examples such as this post. And I could careless who gets offended by what I have say. This is a general discussion and I feel I have provided ample details for people to make clear and thoughtful opinions concerning this topic.
