So what is it going to be? About 10% of all cargo gets inspected, combined with an arabic country shuffling the paperwork...........Sounds like a damn good AQ long term plan to me! I guess it takes the uninformed to make that connection! Hey, how about this????? Why don't we sell all the management deeds to a private Mexican company and they can be in charge the entire Mexican/US border......But not to worry, we will still have control of the Boarder Patrol......Sleep tight America. America you are Suuuuuckers!!!!!!!! Looks like GWB and Friends are going to make 7 BILLION bucks on the port deal....yea, everyone knows about this deal.......... Why not just give the arabs a set of keys to NORAD and the chained brief cases with all the secret codes! That would be so much easier and a much faster way to compromise our safety!......Oh but wait, we would be screwing GWB and friends out of MONEY!!!!!!! I seem to remember the sale of billions of dollars of super computers and other assortments of high technology to China by GWB Sr......like father, like son..........or really, the son is just a talking head, Dad is still making the deals! America, you suckers! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream" -
I am upgrading all my camping and backcountry gear and I just bought a new stove called Jetboil! It is the coolest piece of equipment I have see in years! I heated 2 cups of water to a furious boil in less than 90 seconds! If you need a new compact, light camping cooking stove, check it out!

I was at the bookstore today and I saw two couples together who were obvious mail order. Both men were in thier early 50's and the Flip wives were about 25 or 30. They were all very happy and the kids were good looking too.......did not see any traditional american families that looked that good today. willie nelson's new gay cowboy song
cloudseeker2001 replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
You said this same phrase before. Is there some sort of connection? Did he die WHILE getting stoned with willie? lol! (there I go lolling again!) no, he didn't die WITH willie, it was a few years later... but those years partying w/ willie contributed to his addiction for sure. not that i'm down on willie at all. i just think it's a funny/tragic thing to say that my uncle used to party w/ willie and now he's dead... it's really an interesting story. john was his name. he was a very talented guitarist. he was also a moosehead beer distributor. but one night while on a double date w/ his wife and another couple, the other couple got into an argument. the man went to his car, got a gun, and went to shoot the woman. he missed, and hit john in the femoral artery. he died on the operating table, was revived, but had a permenant handicap from then on. that's how he became a drug addict, from pain meds following the shooting. this all happened in phoenix. john also was a part owner of some amesthyst (sp?) mines in the mountains in arizona. one of his smuggler/owner friends had a bell jet ranger helicopter and they were flying in the canyons looking at the mines. they struck a canyon wall and crashed. john didn't die, but one of the rotors hit john in the face and knocked out a bunch of teeth and disfigured his face. it took a long time for rescuers to get them out of the remote area. later, in downtown phx, late at night, he was involved in a drug deal gone bad and as he tried to speed away from a buyer, he was shot in the back of the head w/ a shotgun. he lost an eye and some brain matter, but he was well enough to drive himself to st. joe's in downtown phx. he didn't die this time either, but suffered irreperable brain damage and could no longer care for himself. so, his elderly father came out from texas and moved him home. on the drive out there, they stopped at a gas station to get gas. as john's dad was inside the station paying for the gas, john just fell forward on the dashboard and died. just like that. it was a very anticlimactic death for a very exciting but tragic life. that sory sure has the makings of a Waylon and Willie song! A friend of mine had a flat tire(and no spare)in the Hill Country and he started walking. Then a guy pulled up and asked him if he needed a ride-the guy was Willie! -
A few weeks ago I made a jump with 3 people recently off student status and they were all really happy to just get out of the plane....they did well and everyone had a great time. But, before the jump a very experienced jumper asked me who I was jumping with and when I told her she had less than nice things to say about the low time jumpers and even made a comment as to why I would want to even jump with them.......I was very surprised by her negivitve comments and she even has a coach rating. A year ago I lived in a condo and I started to notice lots of new people coming and going. I realized one afternoon that these people were buying something.....then a few girls and a couple of guys who were obvious junkies started hanging around in the common area......they looked far worse than some of the people in those photos. I started taking a pics of people I would see walking to the dealers condo.......It was a nice mix of people-suit types to people in rags and lots of tow truck drivers! Harris county finally kicked in his door one morning and got him.........But it took about a week for his customers to stop showing up!
