Tipping the housekeeping staff is always appreciated and is generally expected in most hotels today. Housekeeping is the hardest job in the hotel and I would not do it for even my salary. How much depends on how you leave the room. If the room is not bad you can get away with $2 dollars per day and if it is trashed you should leave more. Also, if you are staying for multiple days please leave the money in an envelope at the front desk because different housekeepers probably cleaned the room on different days and they will split it up between each other to be fair. I took my rig to Skydive Boston Providence for a reserve repack on Saturday. I won't get it back until next Saturday. It rained today so I slept and did laundry. I did meet alot of new people at the dz including Emmie! She showed me her Cessna 182 video and we all got a few laughs at her exit. Her arm is still bothering her. ParaChat anytime!

I managed a hotel at the Galleria and the people with Lockheed and Boeing stayed with me for over a year. I have a bunch of F-22 T shirts, hats, posters stored somewhere. I saw it fly a couple of times and it was pretty cool. They would not me in to see the production line though, said I could not get clearance.

Wassup Clay? Whenever I used to work at the Galleria I would go and park at the end of the runway at Dobbins and watch the F-18's, 16's, 14's and the C-130's take off and land. No oh well. I did watch the show from the credits on. I must have missed the skydiving parts. But that is not really what is important. I have had a very close family member and a friend stricken with cancer. My mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 16. It was quite a time to grow up and understand life. The importance of it and how fragile it is. I began to understand true love and began to understand the meaning of prayer through this time. Yet, six months after being diagnosed she passed. The day after Christmas will always mean something to me because of it. Everything about ER tonight brought back memories of my mom. The drives we took to the Carolinas during her last month. The nights I stayed up listening to her getting sick and praying for her life. The times we spent together. My friend I was speaking of is SkyMedic. We talk to each other on these threads and hear about each others turmoils. A lot of people do not know what Medic was going through the past few months and how lucky we are to have him posting here. Medic, you will always be a friend and I congratulate you on your courage and willpower to overcome this disease. To all others I wish nothing but love and please live everyday as if it is your last. I know what I would want to do on my last day....Skydive!
