    Maybe not. 1) The "Student" was Wendy Smith, who had many thousands of skydives herself and could not only appreciate the risks, but could fly her ass off if needed. 2) They were not on a system that has specifically spelled out the activities to be conducted on their equipment and by their rating holders. Check yourself, he ain't the first one to do this by a long shot.     Coming from a competition swooper like you, I just want make sure I read this right: Do you honestly think a stiletto is a great canopy to start learning how to swoop ? I wonder if all you Stiletto haters, most of whom seem to have very little experience with the canopy, realize most of the worlds best canopy pilots, the same ones you're all trying to emulate, have a ton of time under a Stiletto? ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     I owned a Bonehead FTP for 7 years and thought it to be a wonderful helmet, did everything I asked of it, with quite a bit of real estate on top. I've owned a Vapor for 3 years now, and it's just better for me in every way. Far more comfortable, more space up top, slightly lower shooting angle, easier to remove the top plate with cameras in place, did I mention way more comfortable? ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. When you have a SIGNIFICANT amount of experience in Tandems, Wingsuits, and Skydiving, MAYBE I and other safety conscientious TI's, IE's, and Manufacturer's might listen to your FUBAR point of view, but for now, you're out to lunch.
