Relax Francis. You know how many jump pilots have told me just to get out in those conditions? I'm not endangering anyone's career. I will not exit an A/C unless the pilot has approved it or the wings are comming off. Is it an IR (infrared) device? Most modern wireless ones for cameras are. If so, it needs to be line of sigh and there for will be dificult to make work. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

That's one oppinion. Many "freeflyers" who film tandems can't do 50% of the job a talented "cameraman" can. Belly, back, sit, or anything else, that's how you get the good products. That's fine, if you're good enough (and I thonk YOU are) but too many DZ's allow people who forget that the quality of product is EVERYTHING, to work. Edit: I fly in whatever orientation I feel will suit the needs of the jump to achive best product.

Nothing. Most have the basic knowlage and experience to advise on sugested novice wingloading. Other than that..... Experience, and open mind and longevity in the sport can give a better ablility to give good advice. After doing more than a few tandems (read: several hundered) a good TI will probably find they can land their students more comfortably (read: safely) by generating a little speed prior to the flare. Whether they do this throught the brake/surge technique, or a toggle turn, it's still safe if they are experience in the technique. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.
