    Please. Anyone who has done one knows that a jumper's "one minute fix" can easily end up taking 20 minutes with a stitch ripper and your $900 sewing machine.     Nice! You guys might consider putting the D-bag on a longer static line because it looks like that canopy is getting awful close to that step.     Method specifc jumps stop when the jumper is cleared for self supervision according to the ISP. That is the point where crossover can happen. Or to put it another way, at the Coach jump level. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    Watch your mouth, you haven't got the time or experience to know that she was selling gear and teaching people to skydive long before you thought about jumping. She's not being derogatory, she's pointing out that you STILL don't have the amount of experience to jump a Stiletto. She and many of us have seen what happens when a low time jumper gets a canopy like a Stiletto, and we don't want to see it again. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     This post just mad me realize that in the past 9 years the longest period I've been more than a 10 minute drive from a DZ, if not living on it, was about 6 months living in Colorado, where I was 20 minutes from a tunnel.

    At the PIA in Reno earlier this year I asked Bill Booth if he submitted a Minor Change regarding the SkyHook. He said that he did not because he did not feel that it was a change. Given that, the FAA knows nothing about the SkyHook system. Now if that is the case, then it would seem (to me at least) that there is really no control on who can retro-fit a SkyHook; short of getting the goodies and specs from UPT. Thoughts?
