    At that wingloading such a huge control input on a higher performance wing like the Saber2 (as compared to many student canopies designs) will cause the canopy to spin, stall, and/or collapse. Be a little more smooth on those inputs and you can use the same amount of deflection.

    The single nicest riser design IMO is the one currently manufactured by VSE (makers of the Infinity). Even PD is/has been using them for their demo canopies. They have the most secure hard housings for the breakaway cable, velcroless toggles that don't move at all until you choose to unstow them, and are reasonably priced. I've got almost 3000 jumps on VSE risers. As for bringing the slider down, switch to soft links if you haven't already. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

    Sounds like your cutter and unit have different manufacture dates. Not impossible. I verywell could have been fired at some point and the replacement cutter came from older stock. Technically the cutter expires before the unit, but I don't think 1 in 10 riggers would check the cutter date. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are.     Sure, for the Owner/Operator, it is a great plane. For the jumper ...not so much. The positives are all factors that put more $ in the operator's pocket. The negatives are all factors that the jumpers have to live with at probably the same jump price as an Otter. Kevin Keenan The negatives like it will often go up with a minimum of 4 to 6 fun jumpers instead of 10 to 12 like a Twin Otter? How about the negatives like it's faster climb time? How about the fact the DZO will be able to operate more loads without tandems? Or the DZO will have more dollars for facility improvement and upkeep, student gear, instructor pay, ability to offer slots to organizers or team rates?
