Yes. There have been some cases of people simply stowing away the second cutter, but that's really not a "correct installation. Since it's got a field replaceable cutter, you could order a new single head cutter from SSK(USA) or Airtec, or check with either and see if they will still do the swap for free if you send the unit in. ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. You can go toss off with the other tourist. This isn't about time or experience in the sport. This is about crashtested's attitude, and yours as well. Instead of offering a constructive suggestion to someone who has put their time and effort into providing a service to the skydiving community, he starts out by telling everyone the "you've got to do something" and pointing out how fucked up things are. Now cue your arrogant comments about how he can be hit with legal action for trying to help people. If I were in Sangiro's shoes, I'd probably just shut the whole thing down whit the grief you two are giving. So a flight further than 25 miles from the departure airport must - by definition - NOT be a flight for parachute operations??? Also... does that mean that any flight further than 25 miles should NOT have skydivers onboard unless they are in a approved seats? Seems to make sense if what you say is true. This would also take away the "we were onboard to jump" arguement if the other end of the trip exceeds 25 miles.
