My Friend I have been there as well..... July 28th, 1999, my mom passed away at the age of 51 after fighting lung cancer. My mom was my best freind as well as my mother. I miss her dearly, but I know she is smiling now as I have finally found people who share the same enthusiasm for life as I. She told me so many times I was crazy for the things I wanted to do, she was alive for my first skydive....but not when I started jumping full time. She told me numorus times that what I was looking for in a relationship and in friends doesnt exist. Heh I proved her wrong.... But she was always proud of me and my strength to push the limits as a woman...She will forever be with me.. BTW, yes she was a smoker big time! I wish i could... Sounds like its gonna be a blast...I had a hard time getting this time off of work. They are being a complete pain in my arse. Thanks to them a trip that would not have costed me anything is now costing me $175 bucks Ya know work is just starting to interfere with skydiving and my personal life.....hhmmpphhh grrrrrrr If the IT industry was not as hosed as it is I would have left a long time ago......such is life..... I will take what I can and run with it for now.... In any case I will be jumping and having a good time while im down there (celebrating my b-day)...so anyone interested in jumping let me know... They are a trip, we do 4 way and 6 way scrambles every year at SDC. I did both this year. Basically they pair up newbies with some expericenced jumpers and form 4 or 6 way teams. Heh...My first one was nice..... My second one completely caught me by suprize...it was on a sunset load with this guy who was coaching me...(cute too) It was funny...cause he pointed to show me the gorgous sunset....and dumb newbie me thought he wanted me to track that way....So off I went... That was a funny moment....and a moment it was....cause a few months later we started dating, and a year later he is the love of my life.... Andrea, My .02.....if your going to have your hair done by a stylist they will have the ability to use different shades of red/brown...they can take your hair down a shade or two then add highlights of your choice.... I actually had my hair highlighted, they darkend some strands (im a dirty blonde) and then lightend some and left the rest. It looked natural, and as it grows out the roots do not look as bad... Talk to the stylist about what you thinking and they may have some other ideas with highlighting.....
