Are you sure that your loan terms are correct? 600 x 15 years is like 108K paid back over the life of the loan!! 10 years at 7-8% would save you a considerable amount of money instead of 15yrs at 12% or similar. I'm not a vet like some people but I do know a thing or two about dogs. Petting and playing with them while they are encaged in a cell/cage/crate/prison isn't the greatest idea. Most dogs I know, including mine, have a very different temperament when they are cornered or isolated in a cage - no matter how big. It's a mental thing, I guess. The wife and I are headed down to to San Diego on Thursday for a little R-n-R over the weekend. Couple of questions for the locals and people that have gone that route: We're hopefully going to leave the bay area around 8, so plan to be over the grapevine around 1-2 depending on how many stops we make. Will we hit the beginning of rush hour around this time? Is it wise to stay on 5 all the way thru LA to SD or is it faster to detour to 210 or 15 and go around LA? I've heard horror stories about dogs getting anesthesia and then not waking up or having complications later. So I made sure before taking my dog into getting her teeth cleaned when she was around 3 years old. There's really two types of anesthesia - IV and gas. IV is a little more dangerous as there's just a best guess on what the dog needs to be put to sleep. Plus it takes a while (day or more) for the effect to wear off. Your vet should be able to do a pre-screening blood test to check for any possible side effects of the drugs they will be giving your pet. The other option is Gas, which is what I insist on when any of my dogs go under. The greatest benefit is that the recovery time is much quicker since once the gas is removed the animal wakes up shortly after that. So go with Gas and the pre-test screening. At first I thought my laptop had a bad pixel. But then I saw the same pixel on my external monitor. When I put the mouse over it, I see a tiny scrollbar. I tried to get a screen capture of that, but windows print screen only sees the pixel. I remember seeing this before and it was some resident program running that had caused it. Oh, I see what you mean. Right, the 4th gens don't have much going for them as compared to the first 3 gens. They have not become more of the family car and ride like a car more too. So less mods, I suppose. It makes sense to me that if I was going to spend 35K on a new car I wouldn't trick it out right away.
