Mom's just love to see their son's do this kind of stuff!

Mom's don't need apostrophes. Neither do son's. First Class Citizen Twice Over -
Human beings get government identification numbers too. Animals don't. Well, I think cattle do now. Cattle and humans. So do cattle have souls? First Class Citizen Twice Over

Possibly, but Bush sure could. First Class Citizen Twice Over

What amuses me so much about this poll is that it's about sexual orientation but gay and straight people end up in the same category. First Class Citizen Twice Over

10th planet... Food for thought... From a friend...

They just released the newest calculations! It's going to HIT THE EARTH! AGGGHHHHH! First Class Citizen Twice Over -
My understanding is the Gov. General signs FOR Betty. Unfortunately Ms. Clarkson is on sick leave so the Chief Justice stood in for the sovereign. I assume from the reporting that has the same power under the circumstances. First Class Citizen Twice Over

I'm curious. Does this mean that if I point to a covert CIA and say, "he's a covert CIA agent" then I'm not breaking the law? What if I say, "The person whose name rhymes with 'gallery blame' is a covert CIA agent"? What if I say, "The person whose name is 'emalp eirelav' backwards" is a covert CIA agent"? What if I say her name but my pronunciation is poor? First Class Citizen Twice Over

My husband's in Vancouver BC right now. That's the center of the western hemisphere as far as sushi is concerned. We always love ama ebi. Usually that's just raw prawn on rice with the deep fried head (antenna and eyes and all) next to it. But last night he had LIVE ama ebi. The chef pulled a live prawn from the tank, pulled the tail off, and served the still-wriggling head alongside it. The eyes were still moving and when he poked it, the prawn tried to eat his chopstick. Then after he ate the tail, the chef took the head back and deep fried it. He says this was the best sushi he has ever eaten! First Class Citizen Twice Over

Michelle, you get points for quality of reasoning. You're paying far more attention than anyone else. However, you're inflating my passion and optimism. I'm not so silly as to think I'll convince anyone of anything. Nor is my purpose simply promoting gay marriage. This is more wide-ranging than that. Again, I think it's funny that so many posts are about ME and so few are about the topic or the ramifications. But then, whenever I post anything on this website the thread seems to instantly turn into narcimund-bashing and narcimund-defending. Such power I seem to wield! That's very odd of course, but who am I to deny people their pleasures? Carry on. First Class Citizen Twice Over

This semi-automatic reflex of name calling is not important enough to respond to. However, it's just barely noisy enough that I think I'll leave this statement so people know I'm intentionally ignoring it. First Class Citizen Twice Over

Oh that's an excellent idea. God forbid we should actually learn anything. First Class Citizen Twice Over

What's the joke? I asked what people think. Aren't the results interesting? First Class Citizen Twice Over

Not at all -- yet more assumptions. You guys sure do love to talk about the messenger instead of the message. Maybe all of the 33% are answering facetiously. I'm not as sure as you guys are. I wish I'd posted this on a weekday so there'd be even more votes. First Class Citizen Twice Over

You're making wild assumptions about me. Shouldn't you be directing the challenge at the 33% who're voting against your position? First Class Citizen Twice Over

Apparently 33% don't agree with you. First Class Citizen Twice Over

I wonder how many of the 29% who have voted "Good thing" are being facetious -- and how many mean it. First Class Citizen Twice Over

Some people would respond to a complaint of a stomach ache by vigorously defending their pet politician. It's comic, isn't it? First Class Citizen Twice Over
