    It might be a possibility for me, sometime mid January. I'm in the midwest and am looking for plans for that time.. Major thing is finding rides from and to the airport/dz because I'm not going to pay for a rental car..

    Is there anyone who routinely travels from Phoenix to Eloy and will be this January? I plan to fly out but would need a ride from the airport and back to.. money involved for gas etc.. Let me know!

    That tunnel time in February sounds awesome, and the fact that you squeeze it into a weekend is even better. How much does it usually come out to cost per person? Get in touch with the people you know and we'll see if we can get something planned? I'm down for anything; and anytime in January 1-19 is a great time. Arizona, Zhills, Sebastian, Houston, wherever! As long as I'm able to meet up with a few people I'm down to buy my plane ticket tomorrow!

    The only thing is that I can't find any deals on airfare, I can't be paying $400 for a roundtrip ya know.. At the moment I'm finding tickets to az for $220 roundtrip mid january..

    Eh, I think I'm really going to focus on the skydiving trip before anything else. Just because of the money I'd like to save for it.. I don't really want to head to collegiates alone, I don't have faith that I'd fine anyone to jump with. Is it alot of just fun jumping aside from competition? Are you suggesting Deland? Or anywhere in Florida vs Arizona or Texas or Cali?

    In short I was looking to find a group of people that want to head somewhere for a week or so this winter? I'm a student at the University of Iowa and have break from Dec 19-Jan19th, and I'd really like to get to some warmth this winter. As to where in mind, I really didn't have any set plans; I'm open. I'm assuming most suggestions would be Zhills, Eloy, maybe some of the others in cali or texas.. I'm a college student so yes I'm broke. That means I probably won't be paying to stay in a 4 star hotel, instead I'll be camping or taking up the cheap shacks/campers at the dz's; however I'm sure many feel this way as a jump ticket is better than a puffed pillow! My assumption of where to fly out of would be either Des Moines as I'm in Iowa, or anywhere in northern Illinois such as Midway, O'Hare, etc.. as my hometown is in that region. So reply if you're interested or have any suggestions! -Mark

    @ dave. It's an internet profile, no I don't run home everyday to update it for you. I progressed starting with 210>190>170>150. Was I being careful with the 150? Fuck no. I was cranking on the risers, having fun, I wasn't paying $ to play pelotas under canopy. Now do I sound like an idiot who wants to downsize and kill himself? Maybe, am I? No. I'm a smart kid, it's just that you guys jump the gun on thinking every fresh new jumper doesn't know anything.

    I never plan on taking anything larger than baby steps when it comes to downsizing. A square or slightly tapered canopy such as the sabre in 135sqft will be fine for me. Through student I jumped a sabre 2 150. Thanks for the literature

    Do what he did.. If he followed the other groups in front of him, which also did the correct thing, why didn't they get scholded? They didn't and wouldn't!

    Trust me, I was shoving my fists and feet everywhere I could to get this thing closed. Here is my next question, is this unsafe? Obviously all rigs needs to have tension from the closing loop on the pin, but with it being as tight as this situation is, is that unsafe? Will the pin still extract?

    Well, psycho helped me get it in the bag. The second fight was closing the container.. My hands still hurt from pulling on the pullup cord trying to get the bitch shut. I'm going to try and look at it this way.. hopefully it's just tough because (besides the size issues) I'm just a new packer, haven't packed much at all, and in turn over time and more and more packing it'll become easier? Just a though..

    Where the hell did south africa come into this? Haha, I'll grab some serial numbers tonight, is there anyway to tell..? Like I said it's a chute shop, don't know where they were produced..

    Here's the deal, I've got an I33 which recommends to hold a 135-150. I have a chute shop 155. Now I haven't packed much, and I've only tried packing this a few times after getting the canopy hooked up but I just simply can't get the canopy in the dbag. I've tried different packing techniques, and I must say that I've done them very well; which leads me to think it simply won't work. Any ideas or suggestions? Would the next size larger dbag work and still fit into the container? Thanks guys

    Have you ever jumped it? And of course the DZO would have no vested interest in selling the canopy. I guess I am cynical because I have seen so many low time jumper taken advantage of you those that should be looking out for their interest. Sparky My DZO has always looked out for me, he isn't the type to not care.. The canopy is actually bigger than gear I've jumped, so it's not like I was jumping a 190 in school and am jumping a 155 just because it was a good deal. It's all good
