    I've seen a safety pin with a little flag on it (noting a defect in the manufacturing) on a canopy I looked at once. I wouldn't use a paperclip though, they fall off too easily.     Never jumped it, but did get to take a pretty good look at it. Reserve container is pretty much a Wings reserve container. Not a huge fan of the secondary handle being basically a hackey with a RSL lanyard on it. Handles are in the same place as a SIGMA. Student harness is built very similar to one too. Don't like the bungee 'staging' loop on the main. I think it's going to be too easily broken and essentially ignored. Couple of nifty leg pads that are somewhat adjustable, but IMO not really an improvement over anything out there.     It will take your rigger longer to set up the sewing machine with the correct color thread to fix it, than it will take to actually fix it. Sometimes a stitch will fail and start backing its way out. Half of an inch doesn't sound too terrible, but I'd fix it as soon as you can. No reason to not err on the side of caution. FWIW I've seen canopies with torn out ribs landed and people walking away, but that doesn't mean that I want to.     You're also exposing the cutter cable to more damage. I will put money that more cutters are damaged in rigs where the cutter goes above the PC.
