    Well, I did back and seat rating together, so I had packed a few rounds and a SDH at least once. I also didn't attend a course, just worked with a couple master riggers. But I get your point. A new rigger at the dz just refused to pack two bail out rigs because he wasn't thrilled about them being rounds. I know he's packed a round before but probably just not comfortable with it. Oh well, more cash in my pocket.     I can't remember who, but I do recall reading somewhere on here that even if an applicant shows up to their course (not necessarily the one in Chicago) with their 20 packjobs done, they'd make them do them again under their supervision.     You pay for the ride, not the jump. At a certain boogie (that may or may not have had an FAA rep present at the time), they were taking jumpers up and the pilot was making the call to not drop, so people were riding the plane right back down, not getting a refund on their tickets. That actually brought up a lot of argument about them not getting refunds because they didn't make the call to ride down, the pilot did. Of course, after the FAA rep left, people were jumping again.     We had an UPS go tits up over the weekend, of course the 6500 chassis is dual power supplied, but someone thought they could save a few bucks by running both to a single UPS. Finally fixed it this morning (I wasn't on call so I didn't care till normal hours) At least we got to upgrade the code on it, ya know, since it was down anyways.     There are plenty of roundabouts in the countries that I've 'visited'. I've always liked them more, but I also understand that Americans really don't know how to handle one 90% of the time. There's one near a local store and I almost always see the guy infront of me turn left (basically doing a U turn) instead of turning right. Luckily there's almost never anyone on this road.     Something else that I had happen to my canopy was that there somehow some fibers that got rolled together and just small enough to not see unless you're looking right at it, but it formed a kind of a ring. The ring somehow ended up above the cascades for the brake attachments and would cause a slow but noticeable turn. Was the darndest thing I'd seen up to that point.
