  1. Well, with so many folks wanting government to take care of them, this all fits very well. Chuck
  2. They're all just too self-centered and self-indulgent to give a crap about 'We the people'. They have their positions living fat and don't give a crap about us. Just wait till the next election rolls around and see how thry are, You're not the only one who is fed-up! The next time they run for office... we don't vote for them. Fortunately, Obama is out of chances. Chuck
  3. Iwas't ableto pull it up but is she going to be the first in line to turn her gun in, when the time comes??? Chuck
  4. I could be wrong, but with all the animosity of the last four years, and as divided as Congress is, I will be surprised if she gets much, if anything passed. It is a waste of time and will not have any measure of success against nut cases. It would be nothing more than a 'feel good for the moment' fix. Then, when that doesn't work, they will pass something else equally ineffective and silly. They never learn. That's a true story! I can't believe, people really vote people like Pelosi and Feinstein into office. I think too, it's more of that 'entitlement' mentality. They lack common sense. Feinstein doesn't have to worry. She has armed guards and lives in a secure neighborhood. She doesn't care about real people. She only cares about getting enough votes to stay in office. She's certifiable! Chuck
  5. You're right! You can bet the farm, without worry, she's too gutless and too stupid to go after the gangers and other bad guys and get their guns. If, any of her bull-shit law passes, we're going to be sitting ducks. Chuck
  6. Her bill, absolutely stinks. She is wanting thatnoone in this country owns a gun... of any kind. She mentions every type handgun, rifle and shotgun. She's not just going after so-called 'assault weapons. She's going after the wrong people!! Chuck
  7. If, Feinstein has her way, that's what we're looking at. I still want to know, who does she have in mind to take the guns from the gangs and other criminals? The woman lives in a damned bubble and has absolutely no grasp on reality. I don't think her bill has a snowball's chance in hell of passing. Simply because, there are too many politicians who like to hunt, own and carry, including her (carry). Chuck
  8. Is anyone here, aware of the fact that Feinstein carried (carries) a pistol? Also, will politicians be exempt from her bull-shit bill? They like their guns too! Chuck
  9. That's a true story! One school board here, passed that in 2010. Chuck
  10. Cant do that It would go against the rights of the criminals Dang! I forgot. I just can't get over the fact that our rights are being chipped away and we're losing them yet the crooks get more rights. It's those sorry politicians to blame. Chuck
  11. 1. I generally mean exactly what I write, no more and no less. 2. Any paper is within its rights to publish public information. Personally I think it was inflammatory and unhelpful, but I'm not a newspaper editor. actually, gun owners' data is not public information. At least it definately shouldn't be. They should be sued for releasing it... They need to post the 'bad guys' and gang-bangers with guns addresses! This might help the cops confiscate their guns and leave law abiding gun owners the hell alone. To me, Feinstein's proposed bill will just make for more victims!! Chuck
  12. Yes. Fuller Park and Garfield Park are rough places. I've read some stuff suggesting that handguns are now a greater percentage of murder weapons in Chicago. And I am pretty disappointed that gang violence is viewed as a way to kinda minimize it. They are people, too. Gang on innocent citizens, too. From what I've read, not too many communities want to admit they have a gang problem. I've checked it out and there is not a state in the Union that does not have a gang or gangs. For example, I lived in a city here in West Texas that had several gangs but the word 'gang' was never mentioned on the t.v. news or in the papers. Police officers I knew there, confirmed it was in fact a gang related murder. The city is just in denial. Chuck
  13. How long would an appeal take to get to court? And would gov't hold off on enforcing the new rules until a decision had been made, or start confiscating and destroying guns immediately? And then what happens after they've destroyed your guns, and feinstein's new law is thrown out later? I'm sure, Emperor Obama would want immediate action on the law. It would probably take some time to get to the Supreme Court. Then too, Feinstein and anyone else voting in favor of her bill would be the most hated people around. That's enough time to do some 'damage'. Once again, the majority of this country is letting a minority of the population lead us around by the nose. Chuck
  14. That's something I've been wondering about. Seems to me, if Feinstein's bill did make it through, someone would challenge it and then, the Supreme Court would up-hold the second ammendment. Chuck
  15. I'm of the impression Obama will tout it and push for it. Chuck I hoped the sarcasm would come through I have no doubt Obama would sign a POS bill like hers[/reply Sorry, I missed the sarcasm. I'm sure, he'll be all over it like flies on a gut pile. Seems to me too, he and his cronies are tearing this country apart from within. Chuck
  16. This topic spans both parties I hope her bill never makes it through the Senate But if it does, we can only hope for calmer heads in the House Or Hope Obama will veto it I'm of the impression Obama will tout it and push for it. Chuck
  17. DING! I have a hard time beieving that people really vote for that woman, let alone listen to her. [crazy Chuck She's from San Francisco. Nuff said. Right-on! Chuck
  18. You got right! He's just another hot-shot newspaper guy trying to get his name 'out there'! Chuck
  19. DING! I have a hard time beieving that people really vote for that woman, let alone listen to her. [crazy Chuck
  20. ...and applause to the guy who was on that list and published the address of the guy who produced that information as well as others at the newspaper! Chuck
  21. No matter how anyone slices it, her bill would mean the confiscation of all guns from honest citizens. Feinstein is a whack-job with a total lack of common sense who wants to take away our second ammendment rights. What I'd like to know is, how she plans to get all the guns away from gangs like MS-13, Hell's Angels and the hundreds of other gangs in this country! She comes up with her 'knee-jerk' ideas with no sense of reason or reality. We need to keep our guns and ban Feinstein! Chuck
  22. well that was due to the drought caused by irregular climate in this year's harvest. Cheers! Shc As well as Spring flooding in the mid-west. Also, as for high corn prices, isn't it the 'middle man' and the govt. demand for corn for ethanol. Not necessarily the farmer cashing in on the high corn prices? Recently, I've sen a 50lb. sack of dried corn go for as much as $15.00. Chuck

    Racism

As in "Some of my best friends are Black"? I have just returned from a four week trip to the US (bass fishing on Lake Okeechobee, FL) and I can tell you without fear of contradiction, racism is alive and well in the USA. And I assure you, I know racism when I see it! Did I mention any 'specific' race? You're generalizing and I sense an insinuation I'm racist by your statement. If that's the case, you don't know me or how I feel. Sadly, racism is alive and well here and not just in the South but that doesn't mean everyone is. You don't seem to have your eyes open all the way. Chuck I freely admit to generalising - because that was my general impression. The purpose of my post was not to accuse anyone - it was merely to point out to you and Dave that racism is very real and very prevalent. I'm confused... are you saying you got the general idea I'm a racist? I'm well aware that racism is alive and well... all over the world and it ain't just black and white. It's not just in the U.S.A.!! Chuck

    Racism

Not if he studied lasers. He's on a horse dressed as a cowboy so I assume he's Texan. (Is that racist?) Gotta' watch that word 'assume'!
