    Been there... Done that! Luckily, I never hurt anyone or got a DWI. Quit drinking years ago... after being stopped for 3-miles over the speed limit! I'd been drinking at the DZ. Kept my face into the wind while talking with the highway patrolman. He let me go with a warning for speed. Chuck

    Thanks, Terry! Appreciate your in-put! I've been an Associate Member for several years and the part about reducing membership dues sounds good. Sometimes, the dues are hard to come up with but, from what I have seen of PIA, it's more than worthwhile to be a member. They helped a rigger friend of mine a couple years ago (saved his ticket) and he wasn't a member at the time. He is now! I can't say enough good about PIA. Keep-up the good work! Chuck

    There was a 'story' about radar detectors in Canada, several years ago on '60 Minutes'. They showed a huge stack of the detectors being crushed with a bull-dozer. When you drive in Canada or even another State, you either abide by the laws or face the consequences. Let's say, the 'shoe' was on the other foot and it was a Canadian 'griping' about some U.S. law. What would your 'feelings' be? It's a pretty good idea to check-up on the laws of other countries before visiting. That Canadian cop, was doing his job... enforcing 'his' country's laws. You just gotta suck it up... lesson learned. Chuck

    That's hilarious!!! What's not so funny is, my wife is a peace officer. Her sister is a lawyer. My sister-in-law, told me one day how funny she thought it was that my wife arrests them and she, defends them! Chuck
