    I applied for a dispatch position and was the most articulate person in the testing room.. passed my test with flying colors, and already had knowledge of the codes... I didnt get the job though. Apparently, smoking pot when I was younger prevented me from getting the job, even though the other people were only adept at "ebonics".... Sometimes I just wish I could lie.     You hit that one right on the head. I've got a sister in law who thinks it's cool to be an idiot. She works hard at dumbing her self down every day. I give credit to pop culture for that. Her parents could never compete with the crap she calls music and entertainment, and to her, that is the true measure of how well some one fits in Well... Duh! Sorry, Kevin... I couldn't help myself.     _______________________________ I agree! I get tired of some of the excuses parents come-up with, also. I know, personally, single moms, who have intelligent kids who get good grades, have manners and can put together a complete sentence. The moms work 2-job, also. On the other hand, I know some stay-at-home moms whose kids are in and out of juvenile detention and think 2+2 = buy two... get two free!. Parents got to step-up to the plate. Teachers can't do it all. Chuck

    Uh..I think the politically correct word for the KKK is "Southern Insurgents." They are in fact simply trying to repel foreign invaders from their land. _________________________________ The KKK, has a not so 'glorious' history. I just don't care for their violent response to some situations. I think, what is being said in the news story is, we have a problem in this country and it's to the point where it has gotten the interest of the Klan.     Is this something we have to look forward to? In Hamilton, Ohio, recently. A 9-yr. old white girl says she was raped by an hispanic male. Since then, 'Rapist' has been painted on the house, where the accused man lived. A house, next to an hispanic church was burned down and the Ku Klux Klan has gotten involved. The population of hispanics is approx. 61,000 in that small Ohio river town. A large portion of who are illegal. This was in this morning's newspaper. Are we going to start seeing what we saw in the 60's in Watts, Detroit, Birmingham and other cities? How far, will it go? Chuck
