That's pretty funny. Next time someone gets busted on a BASE jump they should tell the judge they were just making an artistic statement. At least, with a B.A.S.E. jump, there is skill and something worth seeing. I don't see anything artistic in planting thousands of orange flags in a park! Chuck -

I missed the pre-race show. I was mowing my lawn and just barely saw the start of the race. I don't know if it was who I think it was but, a real good friend of mine jumps with huge flags into NASCAR tracks before the race. He's from Indy and has wanted for years to jump into the 'Brickyard'. So far... no luck. I'll have to check with him to see if, he did Bristol. Chuck

In the September issue of Skydiving, there is an article in 'Maybe You've Heard' about this. The Group memberships were revoked (forever), not for un-safe practices but rather for business practices so unsavory they "degrade the sport." "It was basically an ethics charge." Got to agree with you. I saw it first, one evening when I was at the ranch working cattle. When I got home I told my wife about it and we watched it together. She loved it. Just a great story with some really good acting. Like you, I highly recommend it. Definately, not a chick-flick. Chuck

I think Bogey said that to Bergman in Casablanca. Man, they really don't make 'em like they used to, do they? No, now they re-make them with all the hype and none of the class. ____________________________________ You sure know your classic movies! It's been so long since I've seen any of those wonderful films. My memory is not as good as it was. How right you are. They really don't make movies like those. Two of my favorites were; "The African Queen" and "Treasure of the Sierra Madre". People like Bergman, Tracy, Bacall, 'Bogy'... My God! Those people could 'act'! That does it! You got me goin' now! I'm hittin' my local Hastings and rent some 'real' movies. Thank you again, Rebecca, for your help. Chuck
