My only contact with Mike, has been through e-mails. He has been very helpful and seems like a stand-up guy, which I'm sure he is. I was floored when I saw him listed. I'm glad, he's on his own. I thought that only the owner's USPA memberships had been revoked, but the DZ's GM was still intact. But I don't get Skydiving Magazine. Is it true that the DZs GM has been terminated too? _____________________________________ According to the article, it was all group memberships of the above mentioned. Chuck -

You can do pretty good, buying 'used' just don't jump (sorry) at the first used rig you come to. Get with riggers and instructors at your dz for advice. If, when you're ready, and you can afford new gear... go for it. Again, get advice and help. Chuck

Are there any con's to having colour coded lines?

I know of one DZ, that marks the line connection points at the canopy, 1 thru 4 on their tandems. A-lines - 1, B-lines - 2, C-lines - 3, D-lines - 4. Chuck -
I experienced that also, when I was a student. Student gear is probably the biggest reason to get your own, custom gear! Good luck to you! Chuck

That was a really good DZ! I agree with you about the folks there. I was there one week-end for a seminar. My wife and I got treated more than graciously. I hated to hear when they closed. I'll stand-up for my friends if, they are being mis-treated. I want to know both sides of the story, though. If, that is necessary. Chuck
