____________________________________ I have to agree. Like Pujols or not, that, was a helluva hit. Cards fans are going to talk about that hit for a long time, like you said. My money is still, on the 'stros. I've been a 'stros fan, since they moved into the Astrodome and changed names. There for awhile, it looked like 'Cardinal melt-down'. Then, Pujols (that bastard) slaps one in the cheap seats. Shee-it! Chuck

______________________________________ I said that about the Javelin, when they first came-out! Chuck

kinda neat to see the red sox win last year, wonder if it'll be the white's this year... ____________________________________________ If the Stros pull this one out, I of course, want to see them beat the Sox. If, the Cards win, I hope the Sox wail the shit outa the Cards! Chuck

____________________________________ Ah! I understand, now. Repairs, can be harder than making something from scratch. I think, one of the most troublesome, was (long tme ago) 'just' replacing Velcro on the riser covers of a Vector-1. For some reason, that gave me fits! Chuck

When you least expect it. Glad to hear, everyone is o.k. Helluvan attempt! Chuck

__________________________________________ Oh, o.k. I mis-understood. From your various posts, I thought maybe, you were making a harness-container. Harness-container mfgr's, use about a $400.00 (U.S.) trim tape applicator for their machines, that can get the trim tape in some odd places. Chuck

There was a search party for me and my jump-mates on that world record 3 point 8 way night jump when we jumped a mile off the spot... they found me fairly quickly. But it took more than 2 hours to find the videographer... ______________________________________ Holy shit! Everyone safe? Chuck

________________________________ I think, the 'stros are going to do it... just wasn't last night. Chuck It went from one strike in the bottom of the 9th to an entire game to get there. 1 strike = an entire new game in St Louis not one of the most hospitiple locations to beat the Cards. _________________________________________ They definately, have their work cut-out for them. I agree, it can get real ugly for them in St. Louie. Chuck

Not frustrating for me! Pujols' three run homer kicked serious booty! That shot just rocketed out of there! BOOM! __________________________________________ That, was one helluva hit! Impressive, to say the least. Chuck

I always cut off the excess, its like putting them on a permanent diet!

Damn! All the pitcher had was one more strike and the 'stros woulda won... then all hell broke loose! Frustrating game last night! Chuck

___________________________________ Well, it's about time! I've been wonderin', where the hell you been! I was about to send-out a search party for yer sorry ass! Glad you're back!!! Chuck

Oh, Iagree and clean the ripcord cable too, but the dirt doesn't cause a hard pull on the reserve like it does on the cutaway cables. Derek ________________________________________ I understand. It's amazing, how many folks don't clean their cables. Especially here in our semi-arid, dusty climate. I quit asking if they did. The usual response is; "That's why I pay you!" Like flexing the webbing at the ring on their risers. Chuck

What kind of twisted notion of how I am do you people have of me!!!!! _______________________________________ Chuck

Nahhh..............that's just the nut cases. I couldn't be Muslim because they aren't supposed to eat pork. If I have a piece of advice for anyone it's to NOT get between me and my pork chops at dinner and my sausage at breakfast! I read a hilarious story recently. It was some celebrity. He said "I didn't know I was Muslim until I was like 10 or 12. My Mom called me at a friends house and asked what I was doing. I said 'Eating some bacon.' Of course she immediately mentioned that 'we are Muslims and we're not supposed to eat pork.' So I told her we should think about converting because pork is REALLY REALLY good." _____________________________________ That's funny! OMG! I'll bet, his dad had some 'pork' for his mother! Chuck

Anyone hear about the camera-man who jumps without gear?
masterrig replied to medusa's topic in Skydiving History & Trivia
_______________________________________ The day I went for my first jump, in 1988. One of the folks at the DZ that morning was watching that video. I completed the static-line course and made the jump. That video, got to me, though. Chuck -
________________________________________ I think you'll find, those holes will tend to 'heal' themselves. after wearing and washing. Like riggerrob said, if, the proper needle was used in sewing the alteration. Whenever I have to take-in a jumpsuit, I never cut-off the excess. People's body conformation changes. Chuck

Them not being Christians...............I sorta doubt it. _______________________________________ I have no knowledge of the Muslim religion. Don't think I'd want to be a Muslim. They 'prize' suicide for Allah or something like that. Chuck

When I proudly showed my teenage daughters a recent piece I did for the History Channel, the eldest remarked, "What are you so proud of dad?...it means "you're history". __________________________________________ Any idea when that might be aired? I wouldn't want to miss it. Chuck
