  1. Try visiting with a detective on your local PD or Sheriff's Dept. and see what he 'advises', should this happen again. Ask him right-out, what could happen 'if' you did shoot them on your property. I feel that if, the same two pukes show-up again, the law would be on your side. It's not right, that you should have to live like that. Good luck to you and let us know what comes of it. Chuck

  3. See, it's comments like this that make me wonder what going on in your skulls. What do women and their voting rights have to do with terrorism? The sanctity of marriage is already being destroyed by people that don't take it seriously and allowing gay people to marry just promotes it even more. Directly related. When women as a whole start voting for terrorists and fascism your argument will make . Until then, it doesn't make any sense. Geez. ______________________________________ How many mad women have you seen? That's terror in it's purist form! I think, this whole Constitutional Ammendment thing is a 'snow job' on the part of the politicians to keep them from working on the 'real' issues. With hopes of not screwing-up their chances for re-election. Gimme a break! I think, we need to vote every one of those clowns out of office and start all over. There are 'real' issues out there and the politicians are more concerned with whether or not gays and lesbians can 'legally' get married. If, the politicians are so afraid of tackling the real issues... they don't need to be in office. They all told us when they were running for office, all the 'big' things they would do if elected. All any of them do is skirt and side-step. Just keep those big lobbyist pay-offs coming in! Chuck

  7. well, if you want generalizations now... The driving angle is a big one, pointed out. Illegal aliens mostly can't get drivers licenses. CA kicked out a governor in part on this issue. And I agree with it - the state has no business giving licenses to known aliens rather than deporting them. The catch of course is they're not licensed, which is a minimal filter against substandard driving skills and they're not insurable. So they cannot and will not be responsible drivers. --- Overpopulation is a general problem for the US, and a specific one for the SoCal region. Illegal immigration is a pretty large portion of the growth rate these days. For the non immigrant population, birthrates are getting pretty close to flatline. And it's unplanned uncontrolled growth - infrastructure suffers. That includes water, bilingual school needs, general housing needs. Illegal immigrants are for the most part, unskilled. Historically that's probably been true of most immigrants, but couple this with the population concerns. We no longer have a frontier. It's worse when a significant chunk of that cash is directed back home rather than staying within the domestic economy. --- Given the combination of the birth rates/influx and the lower skill levels (translating to income), we could devolve in the next century back to where we were in the 18th Century where the established gentry controlled the wealth and more importantly, the middle class is non existent. Or a new South Africa, with the same sort of instability after apartheid was tossed. __________________________________ You make some very good points. I wonder if, a lot of people are just oblivious to what is going-on around us? Chuck
  8. for some reason, the pic wouldn't open, but judging on your comments, you must be talking about ann coulter. her legs are so skinny i could floss my teeth w/ them. good thing i'm not a cannibal. _______________________________ She's so skinny, you could use her for a buggy whip! Chuck
  9. Feel free to generalize. Assume the the immigrant is illegal. _______________________________________ I'd be willing to bet everything that, the sudden increase in the Hispanic population in parts of Wisconsin are illegal! That's no 'generalization'. Chuck

  11. There's glamour in being here illegally? ________________________________ Then too, they might think so. Who's going to do anything about it? That's what they 'know'. They're here and the everyday citizen wouldn't know the difference. They have the Escalades, Expeditions, duallies and the like. Maybe it is glamorous for them. Chuck Gotch. Sorta a bad-boy machismo thing. "Hey, baby, Im a Border-buster." _______________________________________ Yessir! Come on down here... I'll give you the 'nickel tour'! It'll give you an idea of the 'situation'. Chuck

  13. ___________________________________ For one thing, I can't stand 'rap' and as for the way they talk, it 'sets them apart' from the rest of the world. Kinda makes 'em 'different'. Chuck
  14. I wasn't talking about those here on work visas, but rather those here illegally. If we can get close enough to tax them, we're close enough to deport them. Blues, Dave ________________________________ I thought you made it quite clear as for differentiating the two. Not only would we get close enough to deport them but, just make it 'rough' on them. Take the 'glamour' out of the illegals being here. Chuck
  15. ___________________________________- No savvy! Chuck
  16. I agree with this post. And while a wide-scale deportation effort isn't really feasible, we could certainly do something about them as we come across them. Seizure of cash/assets prior to sending them back (and perhaps a couple months in lock-up during which they can't send money home) should help decrease the motivation for illegal entry. Note I'm not advocating punishment so much as removal of positive reinforcement. Blues, Dave ________________________________ You mentioned something about the money they send 'home'. Why not tax the hell out of what they send. I don't care if it's a nickel... tax it. So many folks are pushing for taxes on beer and cigarettes, why not tax the money being sent out of this country to countries South of our border? That, is a multi-billion dollar business. At least, it would take some of the heat off of beer drinkers! Chuck
  17. Source: Connecticut Post More guns, less crime! The gun-o-phobes are proven wrong yet again. _______________________________________ How weird! That story should come out and my new pistol should be here at any time! Chuck
  18. A good place to start would be to go after people who employ illegals. Make it too risky to hire them b/c of the threat of heavy fines, which could escalate to jail for repeated offenses, and you'd have a good start. _________________________________ There ya' go! I think, it's been established that the problem is not so much the illegals but rather, those who employ them. The politicians don't want to do that though. Then, where would a lot of their 'perks' come from. There's another point. The politicians! They started to 'discuss' the illegal problem but, they dropped it to discuss whether or not we should have a Constitutional ammendment to allow gays and lesbians to marry. They won't admit it but, due to the fact there is an election on the horizon, they don't want to muddy the waters and lose the hispanic vote so, they come up with this bright idea. I have noticed though, some of the National Guard is on the Southwest Border, building a wall. Chuck
  19. ________________________________ Your opening sentence, brought me a good laugh. Thanks! All seriousness aside... Yes, that would be a tremendous task, especially the way so many of them have acclimated. I was just saying what I think. Also, I think, the figure is closer to 12-million... oops... just saw 30 of 'em pass by.
  20. You frame it as if you're agreeing with the post you're responding to, but it sure looks like you're talking from a completely different viewpoint. ____________________________ I can understand empathy and I hear what he is saying. I guess, you're right. I do have a different view of the situation. Chuck
  21. _______________________________ Well said! Chuck
  22. I don't see a big difference - illegal immigrants I know are mostly decent types like anyone else (people are pretty much the same deep down). It's not a matter of fairness, it's a matter of legal citizenship. And who gets caught and who doesn't. I emphathize very much. But I also emphathize with legal immigrants and existing citizenry too. When those conflict, then we need to revert to rules on the books as our contract of civilization. much of the time, empathy and legality don't align at all. sucks doesn't it? _________________________________________ Hear, hear! You're putting it much more mild than I would! I don't know, about where you live. Here, we have many illegals. I've found them to be rude and arrogant. I know 2nd. and 3rd. generations, on the other hand, who are really good people. What I'm really getting tired of is the PC bull-shit! The folks who sneak across the border are not 'immigrants'... they are 'illegal aliens'. The illegals are breaking our laws and thumbing their collective noses at us and those who have or are going through the process of becoming citizens and I don't like it. I think, every illegal in this country should be gathered-up and returned to their native country. No amnesty, no anything. I think too, those who hire illegals should be fined severely. Repeat offenders, should go to prison. It is those who hire the illergals who are causing the problem. Chuck
  23. The rancher I work for as well as neighboring ranchers, have had their fences trampled-down, cattle getting out. Trash left behind, their homes and out-buildings broken into, various items stolen, like guns and valuables. Not to mention, vehicles stolen and other assorted damage done... Chuck
