Dude, this is what he likes to do, get a rise out of people on here. He needs to stay the fuck in Speakers Corner, unless he got banned from there again. I appreciate you telling me that, Billy. I just don't care for anyone saying I'm racist. That does push my buttons. I appreciate you, man! Chuck

No, they aren't! Most of them are Black! Is that what you meant? That since they are Black they must be ex-cons? Blues, Cliff[/reply No! That is not what I meant!!! Are you insinuating that I am being racist? How you drew that conclusion is beyond me. Where did I say anything about race or color? I don't appreciate your insinuation or assumption one damned bit!!! Chuck

I thought, it was just General Electric that would 'reap' the benefits of global warming. Chuck China now produces 1/3 of the world's wind turbines, and has passed the US as the largest producer. Thanks largely to the activities of the deniers, the US has lost its lead. What bothers me about all this 'green' stuff is, the 'greenies' (not meaning the mods here) want all this clean, cheap energy but, they don't want it in 'their back yard'. Chuck

Why would they? Aren't most NFL players ex-cons? Chuck

She can see Russia from her kitchen window! Chuck

Wrong on nearly every count. Looks like the Chinese will be getting the economic benefit from green technology. edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/12/13/red.green.china/ I thought, it was just General Electric that would 'reap' the benefits of global warming. Chuck

Does that mean you understand hobos or Glenn Beck? Wendy P. No the ability to spot nutjobs and conspiracy theorists When you say 'nutjobs', you gotta be referring to Glenn Beck? I used to watch him and at first, thought he was hitting the mark. After awhile, I realized... the guy is a 'fear monger'! With that revelation, I quit watching him. He calls himself a 'thinker'! Yeah, right! He just thinks of more ways to promote himself and his whacked-out ideas. Chuck

Years ago, when I was working on my Senior ticket, I couldn't afford a fancy Para-Gear type hot-knife. I purchased a wood-burning 'pencil at a hobby shop. I took the thickest wedge shaped ti and carefully worked the tip down to a thin blade on a (fine grade) grinding wheel. I slightly rounded the tip so the finished product was a thin blade with a rounded tip. I get a real nice finished edge on 0-P, F-111, cordura or para-pack. For hot-knifing webbing, I use a 12"- 'ruler' from a carpenter's square as a 'guide' for the hot-knife. It's easy to use and works great! Chuck

I don't care either, but are you trying to say that those 90% respondents don't care too? 90% of the respondents don't care what I say. Look at the bright side... possibly, 10% do care what you say! Chuck
-
I was actually trying to address Amazon's quote that 90% of respondents sais "cheating is wrong", while 40% have done it themselves. WTF? Simple! They know it's wrong yet, they do it any way. Chuck

He had the world by the butt! Just goes to show... I don't care who you are or how much money you have, one's actions show just what they're made of. Chuck

What if he nailed his wife's sister? Isn't that cause for violence? Probably is. Any way you slice it, Tiger's life is at this time... screwed. He's not that cute little guy who appeared on Phil Donahue's show with his little golf clubs slung over his shoulder. In the end, it was his 'wood' that got him in trouble. Chuck

I'll take that bet. If, Tiger had only learned to cook! Chuck "Well I guess it was back in '63, when eatin' my cookin' got the better of me..." You got it, Bud! Gotta love Jerry Reed! Chuck

I sure wouldn't vote for her! I think, she's a fake, a fraud and a phoney! All this stuff about her moose hunting and her kids eating moose hot-dogs is a pile of crap. Sarah Palin is a publicity whore who will do anything to keep her name on the front pages. All anyone sees is how 'beautiful' and 'hot' she is. How shallow is that? What exactly has she done (as governor) for the State of Alaska? Good ol' John McCain and company created this 'image' of her and the public is buying it! That's nuts! She holds-back on saying for sure she is going to run for president and plays coy with the public. Of course, she's going to run! Why else would she quit as Governor of Alaska and write a book and go on a big book signing tour. They show her stepping-off her tour bus when in fact, she flies in a private jet and her 'crew' rides the bus. She's tough all-right... Let's hope, someone better qualified comes along. We just thought Hillary was scarey! Chuck

I've been out of town this last week ( so do not know what might have recently occurred ) but here ( near Portland, OR ) we have had 5 cases of the wife ( and sometimes more people ) dead by the husband or soon-to-be ex-husband; all within the last 1 1/2 - 2 months. Not a good time to be an ex-wife here. This is NOT to be joking!!!! As for her showing him how to use a 5-iron; none of us know the details. Who knows, maybe he swung at her first; after all, he seems to be such a nice husband. Just sayin . . . JerryBaumchen That's scarey! Women need to understand, it starts out yelling, a slap, a punch, the morgue. It only escalates and the woman is not going to 'change' him. The four best words women can follow when it does escalate are... 'GET THE HELL OUT!' As for Tiger, he does have a reputation for having a bad temper. Like you said... we don't know all the facts in the situation. Until we do, there's not much we can say. It would only be conjecture on our part. If they are having problems, they need to get help or separate. Chuck

Yep. Happens every day. If it's a celebrity or not. Isn't worth a second thought. Hi Chuck, hope you're doin' fine??
-
THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!!! Chuck
-
Just goes to show... things are not always as they may appear on the outside. Then again, so what. Tiger and the misses are having problems and Tiger has 'strayed'. It happen every day. I guess, since it involves a celebrity, it's different. Again, so what. Chuck

MAD is my most favorite magazine! Their satire is on the mark! As was said in the post before me, they have sure stood the test of time! Chuck

The scarey part is how young the 'new' gang-bangers are. They have now idea what they are doing and will gun-down anyone to prove they are 'gang worthy'. Another thing, there is not a single community in this country that is not effected by gangs. I've noticed here, in these forums how folks just breeze over the idea. Here in Texas, it's 'Arian' gangs as well as the Latin gangs. They are moving into the suburbs throughout thi country. We have 'real' problem and noone cares. Probably because, it isn't to the scale of 9/11 or the recent murders at Fort Hood. Folks need to wake-up. Chuck

For some reason, folks in this country don't seem to see the gang situation here as a big threat. I have friends in the Border Patrol who have told me that the majority of illegals crossing our southwest border are either gang members or those 'looking' to join gangs. their thoughts are to get in on the lucrative drug trafficking in this country. The scarey part of the gang situation is the young kids, trying to 'prove themelves' to the gangs. They'll kill at the mere notion. The usual response from too many folks is... 'legalize drugs'. I don't see it as that simple. Something has to be done about the gang situation NOW. I checked it out and was kinda' shocked to find that the gang problem is in each of our 50 states. they aren't just in L.A, Dallas, Chicago or just the big cities. Most of the gangs are Latin, with connections to the MS-13, Tango Blast, Latin Nation and other gangs based in Mexico, Central and South America. Much of the gang activity is controlled from our prisons. You are so correct... there is definately a gang problem in this country and it's getting bigger. Chuck

That way, it's difficult to hear when they forget or mess-up the words. Chuck

The best rendition of our national anthem, hands-down, was sung by Trace Adkins befor a recent NASCAR race. Sent chills through me. Chuck
