  1. So you are posting from Folsom, eh? I guess he turned 21 in prison doing life without parole, too. I bet no one could steer him right, but his Momma tried. Or singing him back home before he dies. "I sang Dixie... as he died." Chuck
  2. My wife and I were at the house, watching an old movie (black & white). At mid-night, we kissed, wished each other a Happy New Year, finished the movie and went to bed. The next morning, we kinda laughed about all the 'fears' of computers crashing and etc. It was not much different than the day before. Happy, healthy and safe, New Year to everyone! Chuck
  3. I was 40 when I got that 'news'. There's no age limit on it. Listen to your doctor and 'think young'! Watch the amount of stress in your life. You'll be all-right. Take care of yourself. Chuck
  4. To you and all those with you over there... Thank You! ...and keep your butt down! Chuck
  5. I've since read wgere Charlie pulled a knife on her. That ups the ante to 'assault with a deadly weapon'. Chuck Yes, that was a part of her original story; 911 call here: http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009/12/audio-charlie-sheen-911-call From the call, it sounds like there were at least two other adults there, so maybe there will be more than just he-said/she-said. I hadn't seen or heard the 911 call till you posted it. Thanks! All I've gotten is the AP stories on my 'home page'. Even with witnesses, it don't look good pullin' a knife on a woman. The fact booze was a part of the situation, won't help either side. Chuck

  7. Ah-hah! They keep blaming cattle for too much flatulance... when in fact, it's TURTLES! Aw man... Chuck
  8. If, those in charge out in Hollyweird think for a minute, they can still make money off him, they'll keep him. One thing about it... in regard to 'Two and One-Half Men', we now know who the 1/2 man is! Chuck
  9. I know that's right! We've got a couple jails here in Texas that would 'turn him around'! Chuck
  10. A lot of times, that doesn't work. The guy just gets more angry toward women. Charlie is, a repeat offender. Women just need to stay the hell away from him. Chuck
  11. Oh come on.. he was just doing the smack her around a little to keep her in line that so many guys seem to think is necessary to keep their man cards. How many times have we heard some of the guys here saying that. Do a search... its there. It starts with a smack and in time, ends with a club or a bullet. I've no use for someone like him. Chuck
  12. Thank you Mike. Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and safe New Year to you and yours. That wish goes-out to all the folks at dizzy.com, too! Chuck
  13. I had forgotten the points about the kid, you mentioned. There's always hope for him. He's still young enough and does seem to have a sense of right from wrong. For his sake, I hope, he stays that way. Chuck
  14. Exactly! Such a waste of time and resources! What would have happened if there was a REAL emergency at the same time and lives were actually at stake but all the resources needed were "following the story"? And this is absolute BULLSHIT!!! What a pussy he is and a media whore! For the record, my mother is diabetic and I know what an "episode" looks like. The guy is just a low-life slug, who is too lazy to get a real job. About all he's done is show his kids how to lie and cheat. As for his wife, she's just as bad. Chuck
  15. I doubt they will. At least, they can't 'profit' from their actions. Chuck They can profit in other ways as they will probably be guests on some of the late night shows and that could lead to bigger and better things. Not till four years are up. Talk shows pay union scale and that would be profiting. Chuck
  16. After 4-yrs., who will care? I would like to have seen a 'stiffer' penalty but, like you said; "they got something though." I think too, they should have to pay-back all the money it cost to send-out rescue teams and etc. Actually, they got-off light. I got to thinking too, look at the 'example' those two are to their kids. Chuck
  17. I got to thinking about their'sentence'. I thought that 4-yrs. wasn't long enough for them to keep from profiting. Then too, after 4-yrs., who will care? It'll be old news. Also, this guy is a whack job and no self-respecting network would want to mess with him. Chuck

  19. I can remember lots of Elvis and Buddy Holly and the like....when I was little and I do believe we were listening to the Grand Ole Opry.... every Saturday night. The thing that I REALLLY remember when music was becoming a part of my life.... was the MOTOWN sound... Music you could actually dance to.
  20. The strange part... here in Texas, a certified police officer working a 'security' off-duty job, must also have a Security Officer Certification. A totally separate certification. Chuck
  21. If it's like SF, a lot of cops score a bukko OT doing support of special events (here, Giants games are a biggie) that need police for security. In the extreme examples, OT represents 60% of their gross for the year. Not too shabby! Maybe, the cop in question here, works OT for Redskins games. In these parts of Texas, a police officer can work off-duty at some local beer joint, highschool football game or a function at th Holiday Inn, for s few extra bucks. Helps make payments on their house or pick-up. Chuck
  22. AND... they do get to drive some REALLLLLLY cool cars. I would love to see what I could do on their track in that POS they make everyone drive Makes every young guy and a buncha' ol' farts green with envy! I get a kick out of some of the reactions of the celebrities who drive that POS. Ron Wood's reaction was 'classic'. I'd like to see what I could do with it too. Those guys don't do too bad for being show hosts and a columnist. Chuck I wanna take on "The Stig" You bet! They say, he breathes fire and sleeps standing on his head! Chuck

  24. D.C must be paying their officers pretty good! Either that or, he has a really good 'side' job. Chuck
