The usual way... hung by their heels till the blo... oh wait... that's not it! Sorry Chuck

No doubt - the adrenaline and lactic acid byproducts from the struggling would ruin the meat. You got that right!

You don't have a clue! You need to step away from your computer and get out there and really see what it's all about instead of watching 'PETA shock' videos! As I've stated before, I've been involved in the dairy/meat industry in various phases most of my life and have NEVER seen livestock mis-treated... ever! How do you know that these videos you watch aren't possibly 'staged' to get people to contribute more money to PETA? All the cattle, pigs, chickens and etc. I've ever seen have on the most part, been treated good. I've never seen animals hung by the hind legs till their eyes about popped and then have their throats slit. I have seen some mustangs who were 'privately' kept, 5 horses in a 12'x16' ft. pen and given old, near moldy grass hay to eat and little or no water. I turned that guy in to BLM and they took the horses back. I have seen and helped a vet remove a cancerous eye from a productive cow to take away her pain. Cattle raisers, on the whole, take pride in taking good care of their animals. You want to see mis-treatment and violence toward animals, watch a wild pig pull a calf out of it's mother as she's giving birth and eat it on the spot. I've been to feed-lots throughout this country and they all, looked pretty good to me and I didn't see any mis-treatment. I could go on and on but, I'll spare you and others. You need to see the 'real' world of the meat industry. Just because a few idealists or vegans or whatever they are spread a bunch of lies just to get followers, doesn't make it true. Go to a slaughter house, visit a cow/calf operation or feed-lot... see for yourself. I'm not trying to be ugly about this but I'm just tired of the manure PETA is spreading across this country. Chuck

Damn! That sounds great! I'd probably need a letter of permission from my doctor. It's just like W.C. Fields said: "All the good things in life are either illegal, immoral or fattening!" Chuck

Just if PETA folks were present! (I just know, I'm gonna catch hell for that comment!) Chuck

Women love me. Green beans fear me. At one point in my farming life, I tried farming chickens. On my first try, I think I planted the seeds too deep. Not one of those them came up. Chicken are a form of vegetables. Their legs definitely look like stout little roots. Can't get them to stay planted though. Plant the eggs! Chuck

You really showed them! Chuck

Have you ever been to a slaughter house or ranches or do you just accept what PETA says? Have you ever witnessed the day to day operations of cattle raisers? Have you ever been in slaughter houses and witnessed the way livestock is 'really' handled? I have and have never witnessed what you've said. Where are these 'bad' processing plants? Why, are they still in operation? Chuck

Obviously, you don't like our president. That's fine but this is beyond 'stooping' Hell, if I'm not wearing my hat at the time I meet a woman for the first time, I'll make a slight bow. I think, you're confusing respect, courtesy and being polite to 'machismo' or some silly thing like that. We happen to have a president who has manners and knows how to use them. This bull-shit of drawing at straws to denegrate and demean someone is way off the charts. Chuck

When my youngest boy was in 9th. grade, he had a bully, just driving him nuts. One day in phys. ed., the bully went too far! Travis just wheeled around with a solid right to the bully's face... breaking his nose. The school asst. principal told me (off to the side) she was proud of Travis for standing-up. The bully got expelled... Travis got 4-hrs of 'detention' for fighting. That's all you can do to a bully... stand-up to them. Inside, bullies are cowards who are only tough with their friends around. Their friends aren't really friends, they're just as intimidated but for their 'own good', side with the bully. More bullies need to be knocked on their ass! Chuck

Call them! I've found PD to be very receptive and they go out of their way to help. They take good care of their customers. Chuck

Contact the manufacturer of your container. They should have the correct spandex and should be able to make-up a 'ready to apply' pouch for your rigger to install. Sometimes, 'shopping around' doesn't work. Manufacturers are there to help. Chuck

In this case, I would say that the cops were justified. We don't know how the call was made to the cops initially. Neighbors may have thought someone was being raped or murdered. The cops just wanted to make sure every thing was all right. The cops were just 'looking around'. They weren't searching drawers or cabinets and closets... were they? I'd say their actions were legit. It just boils down to the fact that neighbors need to be neighbors and that includes being considerate of them in the wee hours. Chuck

U.N. climate chiefs apologize for glacier error

All this 'global warming' alarmist talk and these guys can't even give an accurate, daily weather forcast! Chuck -
I've always enjoyed making the last round a 'head-shot'! My wife, who is retired law enforcement, always laughs at me when I do it and tells me about cops frowning at 'head-shots' Chuck

What's that got to do with waffle house waitresses? Absolutely nothing... Chuck

That's pretty sound advice! Chuck

I couldn't tell you. The last time I ate at Jack in the Box, was 1971. I got 3-tacos for a buck. I recall having to hold the taco in one hand and a napkin pressed against my arm with the other hand to catch the grease! Haven't had the courage to ever go back! Chuck

This one makes me wonder if he is charged for battery or he's a victim of battery? Looks to me like, he must've tripped and fallen down. Chuck

UN: Himalayan glaciers warning not backed up

Decreasing wealth will have a concomitant effect on human health. infant mortality will increase and disease systems will be implicated. Think of it this way - people in industrial and polluting societies live longer. Decreasing wealth decreases technology and innovation. Furthermore, food supplies become lowered as packaging, etc., are diminsihed and transportation is expensive, among the myriad other effects. Look at the lifestyle in "sustainable" environmental locales, such as sub-saharan Africa. Check out the life span, infant mortality, etc. The more "polluted" a place is, the longer the people there live. Control the wealth and you control the population growth. It's a way of doing it. Don't kill everybody. Just make it easier for people to die. Don't get me wrong... I am not advocating the mass slaughter of people. I just feel our world is over populated. I read recently of a supposed plot of putting chemicals in the H1N1 vaccine that would cause one in twenty children recieving the vaccine would be made sterile! Pretty shocking. Chuck -

Thanks, Bill! I will, check those sources out. I'll be honest... I'm having a hard time believing the whole 'climate' thing. Much of it comes across as 'scare tactics', profiteering and or someone's agenda. I like getting both sides, when I can and sort the grain from the chaf! Chuck -

Sounds like 'rainbow stew and free Bubble-up!' That is such a load off. To think... I've never trusted our politicians! 'Sweet dreams are made of this!' Thank you, Canuck... Chuck
