You would think, something would've been learned from the Bobbitt case. How long do men have to live in fear of some crazed, knife-weilding woman? Just another reason men should be armed and take-back control over women! Chuck

What about cutting-out all the 'pork barrelling'? All these government grants for paved bicycle trails and 'free' dumpsters for clean-up activities and all the other 'special interests', for examples? Politicians would have to work for their positions instead of getting frivilous spending through 'riders' on imortant bills. Maybe, we do, need for the President to have a line item veto!? Maybe, an across the board 'equal' tax. If, the little guy is paying $xxx in taxes, the wealthy pays the same percentage, rather than the non-wealthy carrying the burden and cut-out the loop-holes. Or is that too simple for the politicians to understand? I don't know... just some thoughts. Chuck

When I read that story in the news, I cringed, just a little. When I got to the part where she ran his penis through the garbage disposal... I almost puked! The fact that the guy was awake and alert at the time... dayum! The woman in this case seems to have been a bit more upset than Lorena Bobbitt! Chuck

Sadly, they are out-numbered by the self-centered, attention seekers. What's really sad about the idea of dis-continuing Social security is the older segment of our society who paid into it all their working lives and now, that's all they have. It's what pays their bills and buys a little food... once a month. What are those people going to do if, in fact, Social Security is cut. Our wonderful politicians got us into the mess we are in and now, they want to rob what little some of our older Americans have. I'd be willing to bet, not one of those politicians would give-up so much as a martini to help those older Americans. Un-believable!!! I should've worded my previous post better. Thanks for adding on. Mike is right, "You can only shoot till they pose no threat" is correct; however, you still shoot to kill, just don't think you should shoot until they're dead, if that makes sense. No. You shoot to STOP the aggressive act. *IF* the attacker dies, that's regrettable but is NOT the reason for shooting. Again, no - you shoot at the center of mass because it is the largest and most stable target (torso moves less than arms/legs). Again, no - you don't fire with the intent to kill them but to get them to stop attacking you. The Range Rambos can call it whatever they want - that doesn't mean that it is what is taught in CHL courses (hint - it's not). We were taught in the CHL classes I attended, to aim for the body. That is the 'bigger' target. We are not taught to try to 'wound' yet we are not taught to try to 'kill'. 'Winging' an assailant will more than likely just piss 'em off.'' Chuck

I have a hunch, the pharmacist was a tad angry. Unfortunately, I'd have to say, he stepped way over the line with the 2nd. through 6th. shots. Which agrees with others here. The 'bad guy' was down and no longer a threat. I can't see a life sentence... maybe, a few years probation. Worse things have been done with very light sentences handed down. We're going to have to watch this case and see how it ends. Chuck

BTW, have you asked UPT for these matls? I've usually had good experience with this kind of support from mfrs. Blue skies That's a good point! I've found manufacturers to be very good about selling materials. I've always been a stickler for matching manufacturer's products. Chuck
