  1. Making bazillions on light-bulbs, 'global warming' and winter coat insulation! Chuck
  2. That's funny,,,,,fucking hell,,,,,I worked for a local onion farmer in Ontario for a few months,,,,he has no choice but to bring in migrant workers to work the fields to ensure the crop is cared for and harvested, he can't find "locals" to do the job, even offering 3 to 4 bucks an hour more than minimum wage he can't get "locals" to work. apparently the work is too hard and the hours too long Unfortunately your logic is flawed Sounds to me like, they just arent hungry enough! Chuck Or tired of eating onions. Too many folks too spoiled! Hell, they're too used to being 'taken care of'! Recently, there was an earthquake in Oklahoma. I was watching the news about it and they were interviewing a woman who had recently moved there from California. She told the interviewer that she knew, there were earthquakes in California and tremors, on a daily basis. She went on to say that Oklahoma is not supposed to have earthquakes and wanted the Governor to do something about it! Chuck
  3. I like the new divisions. Being a Red Wing fan, and all... The Wings seem to like the new dividions. Kenny Holland has been pushing for this for some time. Winnipeg does not belong in the Eas, for sure. Chuck

  5. Who cannot grasp the difference between 'theory' and 'reality'. Chuck
  6. OK. That does it. I'm bringin' the girls and we're coming to your house. Buy more Cheetos....um...and beer. As we say here in The Lone Star... C'mon DOWN! Chuck
  7. and all you fuckers..QUIT BREATHING! I've been noticing... you're on a roll! Chuck
  8. That's the American way. Chuck
  9. You bet. Also, he can say he's no quitter. Chuck
  10. All 3 are comedians. I heard on our local news that Cain, really isn't out of the 'race'. He has just suspended doing any more 'debates'. He is still, collecting campaign money . His wife has said she will stand by him, whatever he decides to do. (?) Chuck
  11. They sure didn’t mind their jobs being left to imported Hispanic labor. You know, those guys and gals working their asses off in fields and packing sheds? There are jobs we cornfed Americans just won’t do anymore. Yup! I can remember a time when I did that kind of work and still, have the calouses to prove it. It was honest and it was a job. Like you said, corn-fed Americans want those cushy jobs that pay big and are un-willing to start at the bottom. Chuck
  12. I got tossed outa school because my hair was too short! When I walked into class, they all laughed and I caused a 'disturbance'. The deal was, my Mom cut my Dad's and my hair, back then. We both wore 'flat-tops' and my Mom got mine a little too short. It didn't bother me but I guess, it bothered the other kids. Dad went to talk with the principal and I was back in school the next day and funny thing... there wasn't a smiling face in the bunch. Chuck
  13. It's all about bein' cool! Chuck Yeah-just ask James Dean, Princess Di, and Sam Kinnison-all ice cold from driving fast... ...and the beat goes-on! Chuck
  14. True about the offensive fumes, but farting, a natural event; may not be a voluntary act, or a hazard. Smoking is unhealthy, unsanitary. hazardous, voluntary and unnatural. Different issue. But back to the burping kid. Suppose he vomited, or soiled his pants? A criminal act? Nasty, and disruptive to be sure. Not a criminal act, though. Clearly, an overreach and misuse of authority. Going through school, these things happen with kids. I can recall seeing kids throw-up and the teacher helped to clean them up and see toit they were taken care of and taken to the school nurse. As for kids farting or belching, the teachers usually addressed the kid, to 'please' control himself. Never saw a kid 'cuffed and stuffed' for it, though. Chuck Me neither. However, since this is a Sky Jumping forum......... We all can relate to the jumper who par-took of a heavy pasta and beer supper the night before arriving at the DZ. Even though farting in a jump plane is.. humorous sometimes.... (admit it.!!) the urge to report the offender to the Center for Disease Control or retaliate in like fashion is considerable. In skydiving, farting in the plane is required! Chuck
  15. Lots more vegetarian kids nowadays - if some of them fart, the actual stench could be sufficient to call law enforcement Reminds me of the time I was at Eloy. We went to the packing area early and the rest rooms are close by. There were some 'salad shooters' in the rest room and we had to turn right around and leave! I understand what you're saying! Chuck
  16. I can remember a time when 'offenses' at school were handled by the teachers and principals. Looks like the schools are getting away from 'corporal punishment'. Chuck
  17. I think too, too many American workers don't like the idea of their jobs being exported to places like China and Bangladesh! Chuck
  18. Lks like he forgot rule #1... 8-hrs. from bottle to throttle! Chuck
  19. From what I've seen, many of the 'immigrants' go to where they have family or friends who have established themselves. They start with the usual 7-11 jobs and their friends or relatives get them 'in' at a higher paying job when openings come-up. Then, they go from there. More than likely, their patience and perseverence pays-off. Chuck
