Know what i like about being on the crew load? At boogies it's usually the last load before the airplanes buzz the crowds! This past weekend was the 2nd time i've ever seen a wing of planes buzz the boogie from the CRW formation. It was great!

Best wishes to Matt! Good to hear he is doing ok. I was working in registration when it happened and seeing peoples' faces who saw him on the ground, well, it made me pretty sick to my stomach. It sounded really bad, but it is good to hear that he's coming along. FYI, final jump numbers were around 5,880. Boogie high is 6,200. We would have beat it if it wasn't for the crappy winds and the wind hold on Sunday! b

0-7-0 would have loved to have gotten more jumps (as always) but had to go to a whuffo wedding on Saturday afternoon...When will they ever learn??? I hear you there. Nothing too out of the ordinary this weekend but did did hit my 100th since my accident last year - and the doctors were skeptical as to if I'd ever be at 100% again! b

Oh yeah - on a pretty regular basis! It's rough. My roommate's cat loves to sleep on my bed and disturb my sleep. If i try to shut my door and leave it to the rest of the house, i wake up to a pile of shit on the living room floor. They are honery little bastards! So i think i'm cursed to either be woken up many times during the night cause of the cat, or doomed to scoop shit first thing in the morning. Lately i've been opting for the little sleep... b

ME ME ME ME! i'll be there from setup to tear down. i'll probably be working registration and grounds thursday and friday, then jumping all saturday/sunday/monday, so if you're signing up those first two days be sure to say HI!

How many times do you look at your altimeter during a jump?

i dunno, i'd say once around break off and again at pull time. Here's the worst thing though...since i normally jump from 9,500 at home, anytime i get on a turbine around 8,500 or so i am already looking at my altimeter. Guess the ol clock is used to so much freefall then starts to get jittery. -

LOL i think i was so doped up when i was in the hospital i wouldn't have been able to "perform" if i had a girlfriend there! Weekend was GOOOOD! 1 6-way RW jump i was 100% responsible for funneling : 13 : 0 Highlight had to have been 4 stacks on 3 separate jumps, all with rotations - my first real CRW (besides low CRW 2 stacks) since the tragic wrap/entanglement/WHACK of October 21. Oh and the airport hosted a Kwianais (sp) fly-in pancake breakfast on Sunday, all you can eat for $4 from 7-11 !!

dude, from another broken back survivor, i can say by all means don't rush anything. get some good bed rest and see what the doc says. it's better to pack drunk than hungover, that's what i've always said! good luck, b

Gonna be a GOOOOD crew weekend! We have 4 peeps lined up to do sport crew (tri's, spectres, lightnings) and also planning on doing some 2/3 way speed rotations with prodigy's. Have a safe one!

Drew - this totally works! Last time at the airport they were really puzzled as to why I kept beeping...when waving the wand over my arm they stopped at the elbow and went back to my body (my metal is in my forearm near the wrist) and never could find the metal. They were just about to de-pants me when I pointed out that it was my arm!
