  1. I'm just asking you a question. You are going to die someday (maybe sooner than you think) and will have some serious matters to deal with concerning your eternity. I'll ask again. Seeing as how you have admitted guilt, should God send you to heaven or hell? That is assuming you are correct and there is a god. Yes I could die at any time. Maybe in my sleep tonight or tomorrow on my way to work. Might even happen on my next jump. As for guilt, everyone is guilty of something. Gods are the creation of men who needed answers "life the universe and everything". I think the idea of a god or gods is a cop out. It's the easy answer because people like you can't handle the idea that maybe there isn't any answers. That we are just here. No reason. No creator. Just a product of chance over trillions of billions of years of a shifting and changing universe. When we die it's just game over. There isn't any proof that the Christian God exists. If there were then there would be no need for faith.
  2. Then since you are guilty as charged, should God send you to heaven or hell when you die? Belief alone is not enough. "Even the demons believe and tremble." I'm not talking about religion here. Religion can damn a person quicker than just about anything else. What I'm talking about here is Jesus Christ and what he did at the cross. All of what you wrote means nothing to me. What are you trying to accomplish?
  3. 120?! shit with your numbers you should at least get a sub 100. Say maybe a 55 sqft canopy. Yeah that sounds good. It's a good thing you are a fast learner because it's a fast canopy.
  4. I know you don't believe. What I asked you was, "If it's true, will you be innocent or guilty?" You already answered your question earlier. By your rules I would be guilty just as you. But of course you believe so by your rules you are exempt. It's all very silly. There is very little difference between mythology and religion.
  5. I have lied also. God has seen your thought-life and every deed done in darkness. Nothing is kept from him (Matthew 10:30). The Bible also says that "All liars will have their part in the lake of fire" (Revelation 21:8). Will you be innocent or guilty on the Day of Judgment? There is absolutely nothing to support this idea that there is a god that sees all of our lives and judges us. Just because you believe it and have faith that it is true doesn't make it true. "If" it's true, would you be innocent or guilty? You would have a better answer then I. I don't believe any of it. I think I know what you answer would be, but it really doesn't matter to me at all. Your arguments lack any substance since they are all based on faith.

  7. If your head down you don't have to worry about it. It all hits your helmet instead of your neck and chin. At least till you track off and pull.
  8. Bullshit! The tandem passenger is responsible for putting themselves in danger. Becuase that is exactly what they are doing when they agree to be a tandem passenger. They agree to accept the risk when they sign the waiver. They are responsible for any injuries to themselves because they chose to be a tandem passenger.
  9. You really need to work on your logic. It is seriously flawed.
  10. Great answer!!! I think we have a winner! For the best answer!
  11. After jumping Friday evening after work and then jumping all day Saturday and all day Sunday, at the end of the day Sunday all I kept thinking was I hope next weekend will be just as nice as this weekend. Yes I am an addict. It was an exhusting weekend, but lots of fun.
  12. Yes Gotta go for now but I'll ask again. Have you ever told a lie? If so, what would that make you? Everyone has told a lie at least once in their life, even you. Does that mean that there is an invisible being tallying up your transgressions? I don't think so.
  13. Have you ever told a lie? Are you judging me? [url] No. ...I didn't realize it was such a hard question. ...to answer. Would the answer really matter? You never answered my questions. Which question would you like me to answer? Liar? Thief? Adulterer? Blasphemer? BTW Blasphemy depends on your point of view. A Muslim would probably consider you a blasphemer for not believing in Allah.
  14. Have you ever told a lie? Are you judging me?
  15. Strawman The creation is proof that there had to be a Creator. A painting is proof that there had to be a painter. A building is proof that there had to be a builder. And your conscious bears witness to the fact that you've broken His moral law (liar thief, adulterer, blasphemer, etc.) How is your God more likely to exist then any of the other gods out there? If your god is THE God then everyone else must me wrong. Just because something exists does not automatically mean there was a creator. Your logic is flawed. btw are you calling me a
  16. "They want to use illogic to prove God doesn't exist instead of logic. It doesn't work and the "paradox" is self-refuting and invalid." That's very interesting, since there is no logical proof of the existance on any god or gods. Your God is not any more likely to exist then Vishnu or Odin or Allah.
  17. I can relate to that. I too had to just suck it up and force myself out of the plane. I think for myself I was just too stubborn to give up. By arround 50 jumps I was pretty much over the hill and not really feeling much door fear. Now I don't even think about at all.
  18. I saw an invisible pink unicorn yesterday. Just try and prove me wrong! I even have a book talking about the second coming of the pink unicorn.

    Backflying

Get coaching. It will help you much much more then trying to do it on your own. It is much better to learn back flying first then sitflying.
  20. The problem with religion is that they are sadly lacking in critical thinking skills. Their reasoning is flawed and they are unable see it or just don't want to. That has led to many atrocities in the name of which ever god they happen to worship.
  21. His website is vestedinterest.com and it's Storrie Parachute works
  22. I have done jumps with out a visual altimeter. On one jump I lost it somewhere in freefall. Not having an altimeter is not the end of the world. But our vision is no where near as accurate as an altimeter. I know there are people who will argue against this till they can argue no more. I stand by this, human vision is just not that accurate in assessing distances. Especially with as little reference that is available under canopy. It is much better to have an altimeter and your vision. Your vision should be a back up for your altimeter, because the altimeter isn't perfect and can malfunction.
  23. Damn!!! just imagine putting that girl in a birdman suit and seeing how long she stays up there. Maybe 3 minute plus jumps
  24. I have about 850 jumps on a Sabre 2 150 and I just got my new Sabre 2 135 and have about 25 jumps on it. The 150 I always got off heading openings but very rarely did I ever get a slammer opening. The 135 has had all very consistent on heading openings. On every jump I have to pull the rear risers to get the slider to come all of the way down. I personally like Sabre 2's and with the openings being more consistent on this new one I just like that much more.
