When you go through CCW class they go over all the legal ramifications of pulling a gun and firing it.
-
Is your axe getting dull?
-
I think I would rather be armed with a gun rather then unarmed and reliant on the Gov. for my safety.
-
If every law abiding citizen were to give up their guns then the outlaws would have a very big advantage. There just is no way to get rid of every single gun out there. If you outlaw guns then only the outlaws will have them.

20 killed is what the headline says, but reading the article it says one dead and 20 wouned. Right now I think it is too early to know what the real count is. It is probably too chaotic for any accurate assesments.

Where did you do chamber ride at?

[sarcasm]ahhh that brings back such fond memories[/sarcasm]

It does work. Those cards usually come with a DVI to VGA adapter. If they don't you can always buy one if needed. I have worked with a number of different dual video output cards.
-
Get a video card that supports two screens. There are some cheap video cards that you can buy that do this pretty decently. ATI has some good low cost video cards that have dual monitor capability.

As long as I can remember skydiving has always been on my "list of things to do before I die". When I was 21 I happened to drive by a dropzone and wrote down their phone number. I called them as soon as I got home and scheduled my first jump. It's been down hill ever since. I originally thought it would just be a one time deal. That first jump was amazing.
-
Did you do your first jump at Williston?
-
Well it's a good thing you live in Canada. Wouldn't want the only person to know this stuff to be killed off by the destruction of the USA.
-
I already built a time machine and did that. Just try and prove that I didn't

I don't think I will be holding my breath.

Yea Not all Engineers are bad It just seems that I have gotten all the older ones that act like the know everything and get very defensive when they make a mistake. When one of our CSU/DSU's went out their help desk was pretty easy to deal with and that got resolved pretty quickly with a replacement.

Dell's Gold support generally treats me pretty well. But it can be very frustrating when they make me go through all the trouble shooting that I already did before I called them. It all depends on who I get, some just tell me what they need done and others try to walk me through every little thing. I don't like it when the walk me through every thing. It takes a lot longer then it needs to.

ha ha engineers are usually the worst people to work with on computers. They think they know everything. I am a network admin. I deal with all kinds of people. The office that I was refering to is in North Carolina and the office lady there can be very diffucult to deal with. She really does not work well with computers. You have to go very slowly and spell everything out. For this issue her description of what wasn't working pretty much narrowed down where the problem was. I thought it was a routing issue and it pretty much was that. I love those calls where they say the network is down. hmm what do mean the network is down? Well my lotus notes doesn't work. Oh well what in Note is not working......
-
They must not pay them very well. Every time I am forced to have to deal with them I always want to scream. It seems the first tier can only follow written instructions and can't think for themselves. Second tier is not much better. One of my offices called me after they couldn't get their DSL connection issues fixed through the help desk. The office lady spent over 5 hours with the help desk from the DSL provider and Linksys trying to fix the problem and it took me 10 minutes to find and fix the problem. Hmmph I am not impressed. Don't they know that you can't have a broadband router assigning ip addresses that are the same subnet as the address that is assigned to it's internet port??? They should know this stuff! It's very basic networking!

To add to this I have met people seem to feel that they can do what ever they want and all they have to do is believe in Christ and all their sins will be washed away. They use religion to justify their immoral behavior. Now I know that not all religous people do this, but that just shows that religion doe not equal good moral values.
-
Why would you think that "secular thinking" would consider that as a shade of gray? Just because you are religious doesn't mean you are a moral person. I have met plenty of religous people that did many immoral things. Religon does not equal good moral values.

REALLY!!! I am going to have talk to my local atheist represtative and make sure we get our people into all the local prisons so that we are well represented! NOT Just in case. Please note the heavy sarcasim that is associated with this post. also I know of no atheist organizations nor have ever looked for one. None are needed.

Thats what has kept my mough shut so far, But it is on my mind daily. Your worrying about him, that's a good thing. Anything you say to criticize will probably not be taken very well. I wouldn't interfere, if I were you. He is going to change you might not like the changes but that is his choice.

Sorry. I smacked my own hand for going off on a tangent. Why do religious people see science as a threat? I think it is because they don't understand it and they are afraid it will destroy their beleifs. There are many examples where religion has hindered the progress of science to protect false beliefs. What beliefs do you have that you are affraid of being proven wrong?
-
For me to believe in religion it would have to be based on reality and not make believe. It would have to be quantifiable and have actual evidence.
